I'm not saying that females CAN'T be ducks, but renegade femshep just isn't one.

I honestly don't see the difference. The whole game is kind of dark comedy to me.. no matter what. Except the last mission. I think it's time to stop being a jerk there.

edit: ME2, I mean..

Many of those ME2 Renegade Interrupts were just pragmatism rather than being a psycho (I much prefer the former). Just a few examples:

Stab that batarian engineer merc in the back? Weaker gunship.

Blow away that cowardly asari merc? Turns out she was the murderer.

Snap that Eclipse merc's neck and blow up his buddies? Fewer mercs to kill and you start in cover.

Good God, get off your ****** cross already. Persistent whining about SJWs is more insufferable than actual SJWs.

Insufferable? No. What's insufferable is a bunch self-obsessed special snowflakes that can't stop virtue signaling even if their lives depended on it,

using democratic principles to spread their holy agenda everywhere, and yet are quick to disregard those same principles and silence anyone who uses them to disagree either with their methods or their message itself.

Cynicism and hypocrisy are their bread and butter. (like with any other extreme religion I suppose)

So no, I don't whine, I merely pointed out the annoying realities of a recent political craze, and how they seem to have unfortunately present themselves in the current topic.

Don't like it? Good. Me neither.

I think it´s a known and accepted fact, most players were male and paragon style. But if you say there is no majority, i ll have to respect your opinion even not understanding it.

Nope, it isn't as the only stats available are those quoted.
As a counter, the more detailed breakdown for da:i showed that Xbox users overwhelmingly chose male characters compared to much more even splits on ps4/ pc.
What that says about Xbox users I'm not sure, but I think it could be reasonable to assume a similar split for ME given the data available.

Of course that's far too nuanced reasoning for most people, so we'll just stick to the approved SJW are ruining my male power fantasy.

I'm a male, who plays as a renegade female. Renegade males just seem like stupid assholes. They don't have the same psychopathic/angry tone as renegade femshep.

Not trying to sound sexist but that sounds pretty realistic.

What is SJW writting ?

Here is an example from this thread:

I honestly don't see the differences between Sheploo and FemShep, either as paragons, regenages. And I agree on a lot of ME2's Renegade choices being a lot better then in the other games, and more pragmatic then 'evil' or whatever.

Could be just me, but on my first PT as I saw the red interrupt I've been expecting something like taking away that omniwrench of his while he's not looking, so that he won't finish his work in time, you know. The actual outcome was...kinda different.

It does, doesn't it? Idk... all I get the feeling with a renegade males Shepard is that he's kind of a brute, whereas renegade femshep just sounds and acts kind of different. She seems more intelligent, powerful, angry, cold and bitchy than he ever could. :P

And I doubt the people he's complaining about even go to parties.

They don't sound very happy.

Not that parties are all that cool. Kind of overrated, if you ask me. But still. Usually it seems these people see the sky falling, and don't take the time to enjoy what's in front of their face. People of all kinds get along more than they ever did. Screaming from the rooftops that they don't isn't going to change that.

Initiation, huh? Soo, what does that mean? Does that mean we're not going to be playing any intro type of stuff? I'm just gonna wake up in Andromeda?

I rather Play at least some part of the "Initiation" , rather than being directed to some book about it. And I mean Play, not npc exposition dump, either.

We're just gonna wake up in Andromeda, aren't we? Somebody's gonna say something about, "Oh, yeah, you remember that Thing with that Thing? Yeah? Cool." And that will be it.

Ofc, it all depends on the time period. IF we leave after Reaper war--for reasons, then I could see no intro type stuff. However, IF we are indeed escaping Earth, then I think that intro story and gameplay is important to have in the actual game.

We'll see...

Pretty common way of manipulating people throughout history really. Get them mad or afraid of something, then tell them only you can save them... now sign on the dotted line..

I wish I had something to add for the actual topic. I don't read the books or comics that are based on a game. I'm only interested in playing the game. I'd hope any back story is presented in game, not in a  book that players may or may not have read.

How dare you come onto a BSN topic and discuss the actual topic instead of complaining about romances or something? Don't you know the rules!!11

:D

Yeah I agree, I want to experience the story of the game in the game, not by reading a book. Lots of books out there that are written far better than any book based on a  game usually is. If I wanted to read a good story in a  book I have lots of options.

But you're doing the same thing you accuse this group on doing, on a thread no one is really interested in talking about this point because everyone wants to talk about the book.

A generally derogatory if awesome sounding label (Social Justice Warrior) meant to apply to some nebulous group on the political left (an analogue of keyboard warrior, i.e., someone who spends all their time on the internet pushing a view without really doing anything IRL about it). How far along the left one has to be to hit the label typically depends on how far on the right the speaker finds himself (or herself, but I think there's a clear gender split here).
