well if you wan t5to make him/her dumb that's your problem but I like to think my Shep's are smart and know what they're doing.

Biotic Shepard didn't even know about human biotic training academies and implants. How would a human biotic not know about this?

That's like being a Dalish elf and not knowing who Mythal is. Wait. That happened too. Damnit!

I think you confused ME forum with The Sims forum.

They should give us the option to make our character blind. If you choose this option, the entire game is just a black screen.

Then we can call Dark Souls casual because they can use sight.

actually he did know about Grissom Academy after all he sent |David Archer there so there yo uaer so make of that what you will besides Shepard is only likely tknow where he trained most likely anyway and different officers may wellgo to different training academies it's unlikely they'll know every single one out there. Again it's down to how the character was educated  and trained

when did this idea of none inclusion mean that something is wrong? Why do people work themselves up like that?

ME1 had some decent moments where investigate options were actually statements by Shepard, who did know things about the world we don't. I recall that one of them was about the political situation in the Attican Traverse.

This is a programmer's worst nightmare and will never happen.  Cloaks first then different body types.  Gotta learn to crawl before you can walk.

To be fair with Biotic-Shepard:

2151 CE Kaidan is born (mother pre-exposed being pregnant)

2154 CE Shepard is born (after? there is a second publicized accident involving the exposure of humans to element zero).

2158 CE Humans learn the potential of biotics. (...) Roughly 10% of recorded exposed children show indications of biotic ability.

2167 CE L-2 biotic implants are first developed and used in humans. Kaidan Alenko is among the first to receive the new implants (he is now sixteen years old, Shepard is thirteen and his/her biotic are not permanent it seems)

2168 CE Kaidan Alenko accidentally kills Commander Vyrnnus. BAat is shut down a year later (2169)

Shepard receives a secondary exposure to element zero. Permanent biotic inclination manifests (Shepard is now fourteen years old)

(source: http://masseffect.wi...m/wiki/Timeline )

So, Shepard uses directly L3 implants. Maybe he or she doesn't know the specifics of the other implants. And he/she was younger than Kaidan so when he or she had the age to go there, it had been shut down already. Also, Shepard was older than other generations which went to Grissom Academy.

Shepard is in a gap of biotic education. My poor child

Too bad the ME:A protaganist is human only, so we won't get to play an asari that asks if asari need other species to reproduce.

Or a quarian that asks the Admiral's daughter if she's a princess.

Or a krogan that asks what the genophage is and compares it to a small, short battle where like 100 people died.

Given the level of medical technology in Mass Effect most disabilities of handicaps common today would be rare and it would require an illness that is incredibly difficult to treat. In about 50 years from the present Joker would not have to worry about having fragile bones. We already have prenatal gene testing technology. Early development gene therapy would mean that he would have no obvious sings of the illness by the time he became an adult.

The same technological advancement would make designer body types uncommon. Unless a body type was the result of required work extremes on body shape would be an oddity. On a side note in about 100 years I would not be surprised to find out that the actual sex of a person could be changed on the genetic level. The main problem with modern gene engineering is not so much putting genes in or taking them out but where they are put in. If a gene interrupts a gene sequence it can cause many other health problems or not be expressed.

Uncommon body types are likely to be intentional to adapt colonists to a planet's environment.

Well if you want my opnion, I would go for different types of bodies for female characters, But I still want them to be beautiful in their own style, like those Asari : tumblr_nlj76p9eak1tqojnro1_1280.png

Now all Lobos needs to do is solo Nameless King with his testicles and I'll be convinced.

Allow me to introduce you to a roughneck bulletproof motherf**ker known as TolomeoR.

Well would you look at that, "motherf**ker" isn't censored on it's own so I have to do it myself to not get banned.

This isn't even remotely undiscovered territory in ME. We've got Joker with a disability, Zaeed with a prosthetic, and Tali with a dangerous vulnerability to germs.

Variety of this kind would be nice instead of everyone having the same body build, it gave mass effect a decisively inorganic feeling.

But then again, Bioware are not really the vanguard of the industry when it comes to animations and such.

Well they can just create 2 new bodies for female characters, I don't think its that much ressources.

Varying body sizes for the protagonist might also mean less cinematic dialogue. Wasn't that part of the issue with DA:I?

I never heard that it was because of that, I suggested it was because the game needed to be played on older console. And cinematic dialogue takes more information, an information the game was not able to run on older system.

Its one of the very reason why there is no nemesis system for shadows of middle earth on old gen, only multiplayer mode for black ops 3 on old gen, and borderlands 2 stopped sending dlc for console since they were no more able to take them.

But maybe I am wrong and the problem is elsewhere, that's possible.

You are too harsh on ashley, I am probably in the minority that loves both her ancient and new look.

And what do you mean by "still"? those asari are extremely attractive.
