You are too harsh on ashley, I am probably in the minority that loves both her ancient and new look.

And what do you mean by "still"? those asari are extremely attractive.

She's ugly on the inside you cant fix that.

And yes they are exceptional specimens, next to Ashley.

The problem is that you seem to mention that they are good only compared to someone who you find ugly. Unless I am wrong, feel free to correct me on that, maybe I misunderstood.

No, that's not right at all.

What I'm saying is that even as ugly as they actually are, I'd still bang them over someone as ugly as Ashley is on the inside. Even though Ashley is hot and they're ugly.

Well the tastes of everyone I imagine. but my tastes are better because they are mine! And everything that I love is objectively good.

So these 2 asari are beautiful! HAVE I BEEN CLEAR?

And if you don't agree with me, I am going to force you to watch the movie the masters of disguise and all of the happy madison movies again and AGAIN...

MU HA HA HA HA HA HA!

On the first point taste is not required, I'm sure they taste better than the bitterness oozing out of Ashley's pores at her families mistakes.

I'm not sure what you're trying to be clear about.

Your last point is interesting. It makes me want to watch the 1987 film He-Man and The Masters Of The Universe again. Which was my first introduction to Dolph Lundgren but not my last as I followed it up with a movie where he's in love with a Japanese lady and ninjas are trying to kill them. Its not a great Dolph Lundgren movie but for an impressionable youth it was great stuff. Also the first time I saw boobs in Japanese. Which was also a thrilling experience and a fond a memory.

Thank you for giving me that back again.

Oh I was just trying to point out that those 2 asari are sexy and that nobody can disagree with me. That's what I wanted to be clear. HE HE HE HE

And well my pleasure if it gave you good memory, but the movie I was talking about, well maybe nostalgia critic can tell you why I use it as a threat or a torture tool :

Never forget that happy madison is the production of company of adam sandler...

Yah know. Bioware supports inclusivity, I mean this is pretty hard to argue at this point, no? In 2010 19% of the US population reported that they had some level of disability, with more than half of those reporting that their disability was severe. Bioware includes sexualities beyond straight, the percentage of which hovers somewhere around the amount of people with serious disabilities, and people have, mostly, accepted this. Yet ask for representation of people with disabilities and well... this thread.

Being gay or lesbian doesn't preclude you from being a soldier or astronaut, unlike being crippled would. Why do you keep comparing disabilities to sexual orientation? Are you implying that being gay is like being disabled?

I sincerely do not think they are comparing being gay to being disabled, other than the fact that they are both similarly underrepresented in media. In addition, I sincerely do not think you really believe that they were.

Also, not all disabilities would preclude an individual from being a soldier or astronaut, and there will doubtlessly be more characters types in MEA than "soldier or astronaut". So...what is your point?

Memories, that's what count in a game like in a film or any art form...somethink that stick inside us for the rest of our life, and something original like a particular body type will stick in our mind much more that a standard body build, so I always encourage to focus on  uniqueness...would that be body types or dialogues, or stories etc...

A small example and time inexpensive...a hand with one of the finger cut off...is a minor detail but easy to implement and could be the occasion to create a little story around that...I perfectly know about technology and how that finger could be replaced easily, but I think there also could be a million reasons why the finger is not replaced...fantasy comes first, but of course the world created must have a cohesive built...I think it is more realistic actually if there are such differences....have you ever took a walk in a city? I have never seen perfect bodies around, everyone has such amazing and inspiring uniqueness....I think it make more sense depict this in a game...I know it is not easy, but I just point the right way...at least in my possibly faulty opinion...

Cheers!

Honestly, I don't find Joker's medical condition remotely believable considering he shared lean and muscular body mesh with everyone including BroShep, Kaidan and Cortez. Only James' body mesh was unique in the game.

But Jeff was diagnosed with moderate-severe brittle bone disease. I'm certain he have extensive enhancements, reconstructive surgery and therapy. But realistically, he wouldn't look like he sometimes go to the gym. His muscular arms always bugs me...

More unique NPCs. That's all I ask.

How about a character with no body? Just a brain. You can't communicate with it tho, since it doesn't have ears or a mouth. I think that is pretty non-standard

Being gay or lesbian doesn't preclude you from being a soldier or astronaut, unlike being crippled would.

Ahem:

Being gay or female isn't a physical handicap. Those aren't really comparable to physical disabilities as they wouldn't (or at least...shouldn't) prevent someone from being a soldier or an astronaut. Being a quadriplegic however...

The Mass Effect series does not portray ordinary people. The main characters are one part Neil Armstrong and one part Audie Murphy. They're in careers that should require a much higher level of physical fitness than the average person. Even relatively minor defects like color blindness or a heart murmur prevent people from military service or a career with NASA in the real world. The writers giving the squadmates rather severe physical disabilities would sort of be the equivalent of writing a novel where the main character is a blind neurosurgeon.

Representation is great, but it never trumps writing believable characters.

Answer:

And I don't disagree. Luckily Mass Effect encompasses more than just military personnel.

Why do you keep comparing disabilities to sexual orientation? Are you implying that being gay is like being disabled?

Um, yes, in one very important respect. In that respect I am also comparing it to being a woman and being a member of a non-majority race. Cuz you know what all those four things have in common? Being disabled, a woman, gay, your race? You don't get to choose it and you don't get to change it. Know what else they have in common? Disenfranchisment and lack of meaningful representation in the media, to varying levels and at different times.

They need to allow me to have my flabby non aesthetic physique in story. It just doesn't feel organic when "my character" looks better than me when he takes off his shirt.

Some of us were not blessed by the genetic lottery.
