Everytime I try to launch Inquisition, Origin prompts me to update Inquisition beta before I can play the game.
Needless to say, it's really moronic that I'm being forced to download 30 gigabyte of something I'm never gonna use.
Dragon Age inquisition beta shows up on my origin library, but I can't delete or uninstall it. How do I get rid of this annoying problem?
Why does Origin force me to update the Inquisition Beta?

Origin can be a pain in the neck sometimes as it kind of keeps trying to install ME2 on my system even though I have ME2 installed just not the rtilogy pack version as the cheats I have for ME2 don't work on the trilogy version only the standalone one. Generally I just ignoer it as I tried to stop it doing it before once and ended up making the situation worse.

I have to stop the beta from downloading every now and then. It does stop for me, at least.

Did you turn off the beta participation in the Origin settings? It's under Application Settings > General > Origin Beta Participation.
I would also turn off automatic updates, found in the same place. UNcheck the boxes for,
[ ] Automatically keep my games up to date
[ ] Automatically keep Origin up to date
But do check the box for,
[x] Ignore non-mandatory game updates
You should just have this anyway, as there are sometimes game updates that you might not want to apply for whatever reason -- breaks mods, "fixes" an exploit you use, adds some new problem bug, etc.
If you're playing on PC, I'd also recommend turning off cloud storage and occasionally just backing up your saves manually by copying the save folder somewhere else.

Yet again?
No, Steam is better then Origjn; i was thinking about how Origin brutally deleted my saves in DAI.

I've had a few more issues with Steam than I've had with Origin, myself, though they're all trivial. The main issue is that Steam needs to update so much more frequently. There's also a general noise issue with the Steam interface, but I don't really hold that against Steam since that's caused by Steam implementing a bunch of features that are useless to me.

How'd that happen? I mean, cloud saves can let the player screw up if he doesn't pay attention to the time stamps, sure, but outside of that?I've had a few more issues with Steam than I've had with Origin, myself, though they're all trivial. Not using cloud save. It didn't like that so it deleted virtually everything on my account. I've never had that problem on Steam though.

Weird. Is that a common thing, or was it just a weird glitch with you?
Meh, I dunno with Origin.....
