So I'm returning to an old project but I'm also starting over from scratch.

​Our adventure begins in a city, and of course the city has a tavern and it's one of the first places our heroes will go to. 

 

​Unless they don't. You never know, with adventurers.

 

​Anyways, it strikes me that this game has had a good full life. It came out a long time ago, has many a module made for it, and it's eventually passed on, though clearly it still has its fans.

​Surely someone has made a taverns-made-easy kit....

 

Still...I'm looking around and see none. Any suggestions?

Have you looked at the tavern prefabs on the vault? At first glance there may not appear to be that many prefab taverns... Then you look at this entry and find 743 megs of prefabs. What you want may well be in there.

 

Due to the vagaries of the <hawking/spitting sound> tag based search that applies on the vault, there may well be others not included in what comes up, To illustrate this (on the vault obviously) do the following (in this order)

 

Click on projects at the top of the page

In the drop down box, under Project is, scroll down and select Areas which is immediately beneath Prefab

Leave the drop down box under Is Not... alone

In the text box under By Tag..., type the word 'tavern'

 

At which point the search engine will offer you a number of suggestions that all contain the word tavern.
