About a year after the PC release for me. When a game is a console exclusive I just ignore it until it's in the bargain bin. I expected standard-issue Bio product, and got it.

Played the series in January 2015. I had originally bought the entire trilogy used and complete at Gamestop for a total of 15 dollars. Best 15 dollars I ever spent. But what makes it odd is that I actually had the games for a long time before I even played them. I think I bought them a year and half prior to even playing them. I played ME1 up to Eden Prime where you had to defuse the bombs. I was turned off by the rigid combat and shelved the series for a long while.

Then one day in January 2015 just decided to play it and loved the series ever since. I originally played as a femshep. That run is still pretty memorable for me. But the worst part was on the suicide mission, Mordin died. Two of my friends said I had "screwed up" and that I should replay the suicide mission to ensure his survival. But I couldn't because I overrode my save. So I had to restart the whole game to save Mordin and I did. But yeah, this series is really memorable and I'm glad I played it finally.

The same thing happened with Dragon Age series as well. Roughly a year after starting ME trilogy, I gave DAO a try and I love that game as well. I beat DA2 and am on DAI at the moment.
