There are some posts, particularly those in the gameplay/strategy subforums (guides and such) that are really helpful, particularly as some questions get asked numerous times by players new to the forums -- Dragon Age: Inquisition players asking about the Golden Nug, for example.
A current example of a good post to have pinned would be this one. DAI is no longer in development, and it would be quite helpful to have this at the top of the forum for new players as a source of information. If it falls off the front page, people are far less likely to see it.
On other forums I frequent, you are able to use the report feature to request a "sticky"; this brings the helpful post to the attention of the mods and they can then decide if it's worth it, or not.
I thought about doing this with a post recently, but the report button specifically says,
This form is to be used ONLY for reporting objectionable content and is not to be used as a method of communicating with moderators for other reasons.
so I decided against it.
Can we add this feature?
