Would be nice IMO if we could cut heads, arms and legs with our omni-blades when we execute enemies in melee, anybody here agrees?

Alright, just checked it out. While I'm a gore lover myself, what I'm talking about is specifically lightsaber-type effects, so to speak, for the omni-blade, being able to cut your enemies hands or heads, you know.

Aha. I'm all for it. It's probably lore friendly, after all. But it would be rather hard to do, practically. Melee combat in Mass Effect isn't very complex. If you had a system like VATS in Fallout 4 where you could target specific limbs (although that doesn't apply to melee, unfortunately), it would probably work. But I don't think it would work, unless you didn't actually target the limbs themselves and just had it as a side effect for melee strikes.

This takes extensive work in the physics and coding, I highly doubt it'll happen. If it does, it'd be more appropriate with the guns we have, not that flimsy holoblade thingie.

I like playing bronze matches on Multiplayer with a claymore. It's so fun when you can do an Indiana Jones on the Phantoms.
