Hey, the Khet goverment could be an America style Democracy, that was usurped by a Trump like character with Cruz like tendencies like "carpet bomb those pesky humans!" .

They really bungled that introduction. No one is scary after 45 minutes of telling you how scary they are. Neagan was always a boring tryhard in the comic, but the show had the chance to fix that and make him more interesting, like with the Governor.

I want the Khet leader to be "The Governor" from The Walking Dead. Or whatever the dudes name that carries around "Lucille" the baseball bat in TWD.

Negan

Nobody should take their own life. There is always something worth living for.

That's just a platitude. Speaking in platitudes is something that should be avoided. There are people with terminal illnesses that commit suicide to avoid wasting away in agony for months. There are people who commit suicide because of severe, untreatable mental illness. Etc.
Laying down blanket statements based on inspirational poster platitudes is just ignorant.

Zip, when you swirl your Ryncol, I can't figure it out. Are you swirling it with your finger, actually getting it wet? Or are you drinking your Ryncol out of a martini glass and are just swirling it round and round while you're holding it? I've been wondering this for awhile, and I need an answer. It's important.

*puts on his top hat and monocle, gently rotating his wrist whilst holding the glass, with lazily articulated sophistication*

Or with a little plastic sword spearing an olive?

Zap.

Zip, Zap.

I'll have my Ryncol swirled and not stirred.

How about the Khet simply being a more advanced/evolved gestalt intelligence than we have encountered before with the Geth, especially if the Geth have effectively been retired from the series.

Perhaps the Khet surpassed the Geth long ago and hence no longer require networking for sentience but quite to the contrary some of their more increasingly advanced constructs require more processing capability than is physically possible from their own (local) hardware.

There may be a spectrum of intelligence from feral recon drones to self-aware constructs with defined personalities, although even individual constructs are merely components of a wider gestalt intellect called Khet which like Harbinger could assume any form.

Not sure but let's just hope he/she/it has bad-ass voice like Sovereign and Harbinger with creepy background score.

As interesting as I do think that would be, I'd rather not see it in this game as I'd like a non-synthetic foe and focus after the trilogy.

Yes! A chilling and iconic theme we can instantly hear and recognize, sort of like the music that plays whenever Collectors come on the scene.

And yes for a great voice, but they've sort of done the whole Billy the Puppet style voice with both Sovereign and Harbinger, maybe something else to be inspired by?

If there is still organic life in Andromeda that's gonna take some explaining unless the Khet are Andromeda's version of synthesis-beings.

Never cared for Harbinger's voice.  Leviathan had a more chilling tone to me.

If you are referring to the work of the Reapers then I believe we've seen and been told that they spare very primitive races and the Reapers' methods are not infalliable as they do not always succeed in killing all members of a race such as how members of the Protheans survived even if it was not enough to continue their race.

A more successful version of the Protheans' project could, I think, account for why an advanced and organic civilisation survived the Reapers.

Organic life in Andromeda will have to have survived their synthetic creations which has never been done in the history of the Milky Way. Without Reaper cycles the Synthetic life will be so advanced I have a hard time believing that we will find any surviving organic life and all we will find are remnants and ruins they left behind. Any intelligent life is likely to be partly or wholly synthetic.

What in the quadruple swinging nads of a Krogan are the Khet?

Did I miss something? Or is the forum doing its typical jumping the gun - taking unconfirmed 'rumours, leaks and speculation' and running with it like it's gospel?

I know it's done with the intention of creating discussion while we're waiting, but god damn it's hard to keep up when you only pop in once in a while.
