First time ever just now.
Saw a banshee unstick herself by teleporting down the end nearest the middle ladder. Science is right. They're evolving. ![]()
If you really want to impress me, join it up on the balcony and let it embrace you as you look across the Noveria landing zone.
It's definitely a weird zone, I've seen multiple times that Atlas and Geth Prime fall off the map near that area during Plat solos and I get +3000 points out of no where
.
The view's nice but it was better before it got so popular

Rina pls.

how the heck did you heave that Jugg up there?!
There are two places that she can return to the battlefield from that Balcony. One is to the top of the stairs directly across from the LZ, near the ladder.
The other is in that small corridor near the stairs at the top.
Also, atleast on PS3, Banshee's have no rules. They do what they want. Just ask Nightman.
Well I'll be...also, don't let a Brute get close! Brutes are vicious opponents that can instantly kill you.

I love it because this basically covers everything.
Old news, OP.
^That just sounds like PS3 Banshees to me...
That's nothing though, turn on farther banshee teleport, reverse side teleport and accept invalid pathing mixins and the banshee is ****** terrifying.
If that was the case, I will never leave the staircase again.

Yes, I am familiar with said balcony.
My reaction if I ever saw that:
When the banshee is in range of players if will ignore nodes it isn't supposed to be able to get to (this is how they get them to approach at close range). Sometimes the best node it chooses is up above, and then it gets stuck cause it isn't allowed to come down (per the allowed reach specs). I never get why they didn't add the reach spec for her float, as it's in singleplayer maps.

Reverse side teleport sounds really interesting. Nodes are predetermined points they jump to, right? Like the Cerbie turret locations?

Yeah. Turret point are pathfinding nodes that are just marked as turret points. Reverse side warps make banshees jump +200 distance rather than -200 distance when calculating the distance from them to you (assuming you are less than their max jump distance).
Also the mixin where any point is a cerberus turret point is a fun mixin. Running around a corner and finding a well place turret.
