I haven't played Rainbow 6: Siege but i have played countless hours of Red Faction Guerrilla. Destruction was it's forte and it did it good. Not since Rampage had there be such surreal level of destruction and it was beautiful. But this is Mass Effect.

Mass Effect's about exploring and chatting and meeting new races, with x number of dead following behind. This doesn't mean there can't be destruction. Obviously in fight sections where we have to choose what weapon to use or be careful of where we shot, it would matter. Or if outside and there's a boulder which could be used to crush the opposition, i could see that. But it's a tool and like every tool it should be used moderately.

Least until Red Faction Guerrilla can't be played anymore. :D

My argument is why should that level of dynamic destruction only be available in one game? Again, Frostbite 3 already has the feature. I see no reason why BioWare couldn't incorporate it into their game. While I enjoy the gameplay of Mass Effect, it's incredibly simple and lacks depth. Destruction could be a means of providing more depth to a system that has more or less stayed the same since ME2. I'm not proposing to change the point of the game. I'm merely suggesting adding to that solid foundation to further build upon something everybody already loves.

If you haven't seen/heard of it already, an info leak post on Reddit has that covered. Destructible covers made possible with Frostbite engine. The chances of this happening in ME:A seems likely to me. In the end, I won't really mind if we get it or not.

Will I be able to make Ryder-shaped holes in walls while charging about?

It'd a nice addition to the game...so long they have enough resources to improve more important stuff, like the exploration part. DAI was lacking in that department, and if they don't improve on that MEA would look even worse, since it's supposed to have a lot more of areas (planets).
