Hi everyone, i'm new here, just joined few days ago. The main reason i joined is because i wanted to share pics of my inquisitors on the Combat, Strategy, and Gameplay thread.

But i couldn't do it because i don't have the same account as the one i have in the game, and that's because i forgot the email and password, so i had to create a new one.

The weird thing is, why can i post on the other threads but not this spesific one even if my account is different? and since i can post on the other threads, am i allowed to post screenshots of my inquisitors on this thread? or do i have to post them on that only thread?

Sorry for the stupid questions. I'm just curious. If i can't then, well, bad luck for me.

You can't post in a specific thread? I've never heard of something like that happening, except from a ban. I have no idea why and I hope someone does  The screenshots thread exists so they're all in one place and for simplicity, but if all else fails, you could post them anywhere really.

Welcome! :)

As for why you are having issues, I notice that the "icon" under your avatar picture, only shows the DA Keep icon (at least, I think that the "rook" icon represents the Keep  ). In order to post in all sub forums here, you will need to register your game online. Usually this is done simply by logging on to the DA servers, from the platform you use to play DAI (be it PSN, XboxLive, or Origin on the PC). So long as you have a registered copy, are connected to the internet, and when logging into the game successfully through the DA servers, then the game icon "should" show up. If not, you may need to ask the following sub-forum, to see how you can specifically get your registered copy of the game to show up: http://forum.bioware...-forumbsn-help/

Hope this helps, and look forward to seeing your new screenshots. ;)

Thx for your answers Banshee and coldwet. I tried asking in that help forum, but no one answered yet. So maybe you or anyone here can help me?

You said that i need to register my game by simply just logging on to DA servers, and by that you mean i just have to play the game like usual so long i stay connected to PSN, right? but it didn't work. So i'm curious, if my game is digital, does that prevent the process of registration? or perhaps as i said before, since my EA account is different between the game and this one, that means i can't share the data i have in the game... maybe that's the main problem?

Sorry for the many questions, i'm just confused and frustrated. Grrr..

It's because you're using a new EA account and not the one you use with the game. There might be a way to combine them so you can have the games registered under your current account if you're willing to do the run around with EA support.

And.. how can i combine the two different accounts? i don't it's possible, but if it is then maybe someone know how?

Well, if no one knows, then i guess i give up... and accept that i can't share my inquisitors on that thread.  <_<

Ahh! I didn't see that your account here is different than your EA account. Yup, that would be the issue, with it not registering your game copy. I know that some people have managed to merge the two accounts in the past, but I have know idea how they went about doing it, or who helped them. Sorry about that. :(

Okay, so I looked something up on the old Legacy BSN (the previous incarnation of this forum), and you might try this: When you get to the log in screen, sign in with your EA account. If it prompts you to make a new account for the BioWare forums, do so. If not, then it is already recognizing all your info. This should allow you to sync up your registered games (though you may need to log into the game while online, one more time to get it to register). The only thing that will be a bit troublesome, is that your avatar name will need to be different from your current account. Changing the numbers in your name, would probably be enough.

Here is the link, that I found some of this info on: http://social.bioware.com/help.php

Hope it works out. :)

The last suggestion I might make, is going to the DA Keep

Ok, that's it. I give up. I've tried all you method you suggested... but still didn't work. I don't know what to do anymore.

Unless, if i can identify which account i use in the game and use that account for this forum. If not, then i'm done.

Or if maybe somehow i'm allowed to post inquisitors on this thread, then i'll do so. But it may not be the same as posting it on that specific thread.

Or maybe if someone could help me by making another 'post your inquisitors' topic here... then i'd be happy. lol

The key to either working with EA (at least that seems to be who you would have to go through, if the original thread I posted is not being helpful), or simply creating a new account with your EA account, is knowing and using the EA account your Dragon Age Inquisition game, is played under. That needs to be determined first before you can try either route.

In the meantime, if you wanted to post a few screenies, I would say go ahead. Just be sure to put them under "spoiler". This can be done by either by using the "Special BBCode icon, in the top left area of Reply Topic window. Or you can simply use the following tags
[ spoiler ] place image here [ /spoiler ], but without the spaces. It would look like this:

Spoiler

Good luck.

Ok, thanks coldwet. Guess i have no other choice but to share my inquisitors here. It's kinda weird not posting it on that dedicated thread... but oh well. Sorry for the trouble though.
