I DON'T KNOW!!!
I think I messed it up when I tried to change the name to the topic...
![]()
BUT, by the way...
I think the last time we spoke about NPCs coming back in Andromeda for a short cameo or something, Hanako Ikezawa pointed out that Maeko Matsuo was a very good candidate. She was the ERCs captain in Noveria and as Hanako said, she met the requirements stated before:
a) she was alive, regardless of your choices in Noveria (Giana Parasinni, for example, can die depending on your decisions)
b ) she could be available for the Ark Project (given the fact that she is not mentioned neither in ME2 or ME3)
c) she could be useful for the Project (she was an corporate security officer, very calm and very profesional for the job. Also, she could be recommended by Binary Helix or any corporation from Noveria).
Other NPCs:
Veetor (but he is problematic with point a) if the quarians are destroyed in ME3 and c) why is he special for the Ark Project?
Some ideas? Please, remember that we are talking about simple NPCs and, as someone (probably Hanako) already said, it's a way of feeling continuity with the Mass Effect World, not trying to bring everyone back for no reason.

Don't forget the decade of service as an Alliance marine before she took the position of head of security on Noveria.

Was Emily Wong the reporter that the renegades kept punching??? Or am I thinking about someone else? Sorry, I haven't played in about three years.
Details are sketchy. x

You're refering to Khalisa ![]()
This is Emily Wong
She died off screen by twitter because they were lazy to make a on game Khal Reegar death ![]()
Emily is a metaphor by the way, of bringing certain cool NPCs.
Maeko was a good character, very remarkable considering the short time we met her.
Another character: Han Olar, the volus from Noveria. He lives no matter how you do the Peak 15 mission and he sends you an email in Mass Effect 2. Nothing more. If the volus are in the Ark Project (likely considering they are the money of the Milky Way Council) and if the Ark Project depparts before the ending of Mass Effect 3, Han Olar can go too. In addition, he is a scientist, pretty useful.

Depends if we get to Andromeda on cold sleep (think Aliens) or some kind of previously unknown instantaneous travel (think Stargate or even Mass Effect). Or if we get there in generation ships (think Firefly) or if the game takes place a significant time after our arrival in Andromeda. If it's the last two options, then we won't see any NPC's from the original trilogy. I'm personally hoping for a clean soft reboot. No callbacks or cameos and NO Reapers.

Not really interested in a bunch of cameos by old npc's. Especially as a new protag.

No cameos. It wouldn't make any sense. Name me a person and I'll give you a good reason why they won't show up in ME A. If I can't I'll explain why.
We've already named a couple ![]()

What's the Ark Project???
Those people are a very secondary characters of the trilogy. If you played it a long time ago it is normal you don't remember
.
Ark Project is how we call the allegedly project used to bring us to Andromeda

Who was that asari chick we met who mentioned "there are things that need to be prepared" or something along those lines, I made a thread about her but I'm too into this sandwhich I have beside me to search atm.
Believe your referring to Liara who, if i'm remembering right, was setting up a time capsule in case the Catalyst didn't function as hoped.

That's her, what about her? I think she'd make an appearance due to the mysterious context of her words

Maeko Matsuo would be a cool character to meet again. I don't really care at this moment in time the possibilities/realities of getting old familiar NPCS appearing in Andromeda, its fun to remember NPCs that would be just plain fun to meet again.
Emily Wong obviously. And even Khalisah. For all her flaws, I actually liked her, and never punched her in any of my playthroughs. My trigger finger got itchy when I first met the awful Diana Allers ("Ar you with the Normandy? I saw it docckkkk")
Another one for me would be Aishwarya Ashland. She cracked me up at the Casino, I actually just forgot about the fact I was supposed to be pulling off a heist.

On one hand, yes. The Asari councilor is a great candidate, we don't know much about the Asari Councilor after Thessia.
On the other hand... you can kill the Council in Mass Effect 1 and then in Mass Effect 3 you have another three councilors (which I like more by the way). So... if the Asari Councilor make a cameo, the developers have to use two Asari models and two different voices
