C'mon, you people are all forgetting the very most important benefit of promoting: it gives you war assets for the single-player campaign!
I'm pretty sure at this point, if war assets are meant to be an indicator of military strength, the N7 Special Ops are more powerful than every other species in the game combined.
Shepard may as well pack sh*t up and go home. A legion of GI Claymores with AC V can handle Harbinger.

I actually got a Crusader shotgun in one of the gift packs. I can't remember, is that good? I haven't used it yet haha. It was so heavy! x
If you're on PC, you have good aim and you have the patch to make it not shoot where it was pointed 0.2 seconds ago, it's pretty deadly.
Throw it on something that doesn't care about cooldowns, like an infiltrator, and go to town.

I haven't tried an infiltrator yet. I've only used an engineer. I also have a Gold Krogan? Haven't used that yet though. I've only had two games haha x
I really had no idea what I was doing haha. I kept using the drone because it can stagger people? Is that what it's for??? It kept dying though which it didn't do on my other game. :/ Other than that, I had the orange fire incinerate and the electricity? Things just kept exploding haha. I thought explosions were good so kept trying to make them happen but it didn't always work.
In higher level difficulties the drone is more to distract the enemy by giving them something extra to shoot at.
In the game I was using incinerate to set the enemy on fire and if you happen to use overload it will cause a tech explosion, and explosions cause a far amount of damage. The game has a concept of a primer (e.g. incinerate) and detonator (e.g. overload). So a good team combination is have one person to prime and the other to detonate, assuming they stick relatively close to each other.

I was reading in the main sticky about a bug in 1.6 version for pc and it mentioned downgrading to 1.5, how many pc players did this? Or is everyone using 1.6 version?
Only new players/people who reinstalled the game recently have the 1.6 version, and apparently only if they are from the UK . So all of us have 1.5.

Correct. I'm not even sure we could get the 1.6 version, I checked and I don't have an update option on ME3 (and not willing to try to reinstall anyway 
). So it would be better if you rolled back to 1.5

Sorry for not being here haha, I was asleep, then at work and then I had to have a long conversation with my Internet provider trying to upgrade to Internet without a usage cap! I think updating my Playstation 3, Mass Effect 3 and getting the DLCs must have used it all!

Not sure what you mean by bug, afaik this 1.6 thing is just that for reasons unknown some people are getting get the 1.6 version of the game since very recently while most of us have the other one. There seem to be no differences whatsoever except you can't play MP with people who have a different version than yours.
