Pretty much what the titles says, the Make Quest "Active" button is not clickable.

I tried to google the issue, but all I got was a bunch of posters not giving any helpful solutions. So any simple solution?

Not to seem like an ass but you really don't need a screenshot, the "Make Quest Active" Button in the Journals is not clickable. Like as in I can't click it to make certain quest my priority. I wanna find out why, so that my save files for these character doesn't end up corrupt or something.

But if your not satisfied I'll get a screenshot.

EDIT: I can't seem to take a screenshot as the Print Screen doesn't seem to be taking the screen shot to my Bioware DagonAge User folder.

So sorry.

1.  When you click on the quest name or 'make active', can you see the description of the quest in the right panel?

2. Do arrow type icons appear next to the quest you want to make active?

If the answer to the first question is 'yes' then you can read about the Quest and it is active 'enough'

if the answer to the second question is 'yes' then it is 'active'.  If the answer to the second question is 'no' then all you are missing out on is arrow icons on either side of the name of the quest. 'make active' really doesn't do much of anything that I know of - other than add arrow icons on either side of the quest name.

Had to take the screenshot through steam but here it is.

As you can see it won't allow me to click the "Make Active" button in the Quest Journal. Its very odd, I couldn't tell you when this started, but I do remember when I got to the Party Camp for the first time I had a quest to talk to Bodahn that I did, but the arrow over his head wouldn't go away for some reason. Could this be related to that?

I just hope my save for this guy isn't compromised.

Really, seriously, the only thing that you are missing with the 'make active' is two little arrows on either side of "Lost in the Castle".  Although this link indicates that there may be some other benefits associated with the color of markers

I've never even used it so I can honestly say that you can play the whole game, including completing quests, without ever making a quest active.

Yeah I know theres really no point to it other then having a visual marker, but the point is i'm trying to find out WHY its unClickable and is it in someway a bug that could compromise my saves for this guy.

Check your options in the main menu... When 'Plot Assistance' is set to 'Off' rather than one of the other two choices, the active quest button is greyed out in-game.

Plot Assistance off:

Make Active not... active

Plot Assistance set to show plot helpers:

And Make Active is. (Active.)
