Also seriously bioware cannot pick out a decent male voice for their PC. Sorry they suck at it.

Bioware do have great male VAs........ except the bulk of it is in SWTOR. I wouldn't mind Brian Bloom being the next protagonist, I got a huge crush on my BroTrooper.

I hope it's a collage (of the characters, enemies, structures and ships), like the first games box art. Maybe even just a depiction of the new galaxy map (or the new mako) on a steelbook case for the Collector's Edition. Something simple. But nothing so simple as the sequels with their mugshots of a generic space marine with a buzzcut.

What if Bioware uses a female PC as the cover art lead instead of the traditional male default PC as seen in the original series?

I was inspired to write this because looking at BF1 cover art and it being a black male seems offputting since blacks played an extreme minority role in the First World War as soldiers.

 

Ah Dutch I truly love your threads(sarcasm), why does it matter whether it's a male or female? You can play as either gender in the game so it really is a none issue. Also one of the most successful American regiments during WWI was mainly composed of African Americans and in addition the French had significant amount of troops who were from Senegal.

 

So with all this being said my question is this: Why do care whether or not they use a female pc on the cover and why is having a black male on the cover of BF1 off putting?

oh for the love of...... There is something on the ME 3 game case cover. It's called switch to femshep. Besides only 20% of players are women. If I had things my way there would be two of every trailer with a male and female. Enough of this feminist bull$#!7. I don't have a problem with feminism in the slightest but there comes a point where you act no better than sexist males. Mark meer was awesome. Brandon keener was awesome. Freddie prinze Jr was awesome. Need I say more? Equality. That's how everyone is happy. Sadly not everyone see's the world that way.

Battlefield games do have SP, but usually they serve as a kind of opener to familiarize the player with the setting, at least in the last few iterations.

 

BF1 is said to have a SP campaign that "shows the fate of different soldiers in different places"... meaning the main character is likely to switch several times.
