I mean, you can probably play 'the bad guy', but this is more just a test of survival. The races indigenous to Andromeda don't own the galaxy, they simply inhabit it and our own galaxy got raided by a bunch of robot squid so what's a population of roughly 10 billion people to do?

Truly doubt it.

We must secure the existence of our species and a future for human children.
So no, we're not the bad guys.

Is BioWare making us the bad guys?
This thread.... it seems.... familiar... did I dream it?...
De... ja.... vu?
OWA - you have such a good memory! (as usual). This topic has been done before (x3). I was just about to make this comment too!
Lol The opposite of 'De ja vu' is 'Vu ja de'; that strange feeling you get when you've not seen this before! (Bad joke).
I wish more people would do a quick search to see there's nothing new under the sun (on this forum since 6/15/15), before starting a new-old thread.
I wish that Bioware would go the extra mile and make us the bad guy.
Can you please let us be a bad guy.
Aren´t we technically the bad guys?

Oops... Well I did not know. Ha, the thought just came to mind, so I just logged on to BioWare to quickly ask.

Shepard's departing N7 message did not seem to indicate that.

I don't think so. We are going to Andromeda to find a new place for humanity and I hope it doesn't involve being hostile to every race of that galaxy. Some species might find our arrival reasonable giving us a chance to gain new allies. Anyway, I strongly feel that the antagonist is going to be a human(there's a rumor to it too but I'm not confirming that).

Sorry, but i left my galaxy ok with reapers destroyed.

I doubt Bioware would do that, most of people prefer playing heroes anyways (if you trust charts on how many played Paragons compared to Renegades at least), but I hope we have chances to be really bad in our colonization attempt. I missed playing as more evil character in DAI although I don't like being right down evil when playing either.

Perhaps we will get some like faction to side with trough the game that is bad.
However the one who will wear the crown of true bad one will be entirely someone else.

Depends on how successful we are. Success is a moral thing, failure isn't. Dixi.

That depends. Would colonizing earth be o.k. when humans were still cavemen? Or only when they were monkeys? Or is it only o.k. to hijack a planet if the most intelligent life forms aren't walking or having fingers yet? It's philosophical. When is life intelligent and/or promising enough to let them evolve to become the master race of their own planet.

Lol. It took me a while to figure out how to search the titles of all threads with a key word. Best regards.

We're so close to EA play that I'm pretty much done speculating until I know more / see a trailer.

Well... If it is Templar versus Mage, I roll Templar.
