I reinstalled the game after a long time and i decided to purchase the additional content too this time, but when i go to the downloadable content inside the menu i get nothing , it's totally empty. I also checked the origin store, but there is only the awakening and nothing else. Did they integrated the ones such as stone prisoner and return to ostagar for free into the game, or am i encountering a pretty major issue?

You may have to dl them from your old BSN account (where they list your registered content). That's what I had to do when I reinstalled Ultimate Edition.

You misunderstood, i don't have the dlc's yet, that's why i wanted to buy them, but they are nowhere to be found to purchase, not in the shop page of the origin app, and not ingame

Melbella is referring to the OLD Bioware Social Network site that had pages for the various games. That site is still available to use... sort of.

Use your Origin account information to login here.

Go to games > DAO > DLC and see if you can purchase them that way.

I clicked on the "Buy Now" links and options appeared, but I don't know if they work completely.

If you can't find the other DLCs with your original purchase then you may need to get the Ultimate Edition.

Origin often has sales and you can pick it up quite cheap if you keep checking every now and then.  I think I've seen it at 50% off in the past, which would make it pretty cheap considering all the DLCs are in it.

At first that seems bad, but actually it's a good deal.  DA2 has 3 DLCs and buying them all cost me over £15 on top of the cost of the base game.  The DAO Ultimate Edition is currently £15 (and cheaper in the sales) so even though you're technically buying the original game again, it's a good price for the (at least) 7 DLCs that are included.

I have upgraded myself from the standard edition to the Ultimate Edition and my save carried over, and I didn't lose anything.

Well, i still saw the retail copy of the ultimate edition in a shop, it might worth a try ,  if it activates all the dlc's, it was really cheap.

Did you try the method I suggested?

Yes and they show up , but the ultimate edition seems like a better deal.
