I have finished the game 3 times doing everything. After that I just can't do it anymore since I'm a completionist and I can't not do everything in any game when I play it. Maybe next year.

I've done 6 so faqr I've just started my 7th I've ghot an 8th 9th and 10th kind of in mind as well.

I plan to play Inquisition at least once more, as my canon character. I like to do canon runs before the next installment's release.

So basically the only thing that's keeping me from playing it is that DA4 has yet to be announced.

What would for you all be the reason to not do another playthrough of Inquisition again are there some annoying/irritating things in the game that you would say to yourself no this is it i'm done playing Inquisition.

After I completed my first playthough, I felt as though "Dragon Age: Inquisition" was fairly boring. Outside of giving us a few good moments, "Dragon Age: Inquisition" contained a recycled and boring storyline. "Dragon Age II's" dlc 'Legacy' was far superior than the whole of "Dragon Age: Inquisition".

"Dragon Age: Awakenings", the expansion of 'Origins', was when I noticed things changed.

Unless BioWare brings us back to 'Origins', while also cramming the politics, I don't think I will be back for another sequel.

Over the past few months, I have been looking for something similar to: "Dragon Age: Origins", "Neverwinter Nights", or "Pillars of Eternity".

Yes, this. Or if I just got bored with it, or something. I suppose a game breaking bug might make me stop playing.

As it is, as many hundreds of hours as I've sunk into the game, I've only done three full playthroughs. I've started several more, but I get distracted by modding and such and eventually abandon it, only to repeat the cycle later on.

How can "you" get bored of playing Inquisition while Dorian is in the game  :P

A little like ArcadiaGrey, I also have four worlds that I keep, so I will be replaying it for all four, each character has different personality within all my world states, so they don't really follow any pattern, I just roleplay them all individually. At the moment I have completely finished one world state, and I am very nearly done with my second world state (just got Jaws of Hakkon and Trespasser to play through now I have completed the vanilla game and Descent). I have skeletons built for my third and fourth worlds but that will include to playing all the games twice more!

Its definitely the roleplaying which keeps me playing multiple times. So far, every playthough has been on Hard or Nightmare in all games... I am seriously considering turning that down for my last two worlds though because its a bit draining to me atm. I guess that is something which slows me down and makes me not feel like playing the games sometime, but my own pride seems to stop me turning it down so far :P

I've been trying to get as many cut scenes as I can, so I've been creating new characters starting from DAO, to DA2 then to DAI and playing them through. I tried REALLY hard to get to where Alister meets up with Morrigan and Keiran at Skyhold, but it didn't work.  :(  I think I did something wrong. The DAO playthrough I'm doing now I allow Jowan to sacrifice Isolde, but that I'm doing to see if it makes a difference when you meet up with Teagan in Mark of the Assassin. Last time I did, I tried flirting with Teagan and Isolde got all possessive, now with her gone I want to see if there is a different conversation and will it make a difference elsewhere. So yeah, I've played all the way through quite a few times although now I'm taking it slower.

I am trying that as well to see as much of the cut scenes as possible and i am also trying to get Iron Bull and Dorian to hook up with each other but that has not happened yet and what i have heard from other people that it is hilarious.

I hit a wall last December where I couldn't stand the mere idea of firing up the game so I moved to other games until I returned to Inquisition maybe a month ago.  Since then I've completed another, very satisfying run which is now my canon.  In every playthrough I always try to find the perfect pacing and I think I'm pretty close to a good balance now.

First of all I use this mod: http://www.nexusmods...tion/mods/479/? - which eliminates all waiting for the war table missions.

I usually complete all the Hinterlands, the Fallow Mire and the Storm Coast *before* I do 'In Hushed Whispers' (when I began it yesterday I had 85 power points).  This goes pretty fast if you use the following mods:

     Ardant Blossom Store http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonageinquisition/mods/814/?

     Complete Schematics & Collectibles http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonageinquisition/mods/866/?

So you start with tier4 schematics & mats.  Note that I don't bother with any of the shards, or the astrariums, or the mosaic pieces.

Then I go straight to In 'Your Heart Shall Burn' and onward to Skyhold.  It's at that point that I usually restart with a new character.

However if I decide to continue this is where the pacing derails.  BW made the questionable decision to put 'Wicked Hearts and Wicked Eyes' and 'Here lies the Abyss' on an equal footing when the former should have preceded the later...

Be that as it may I enjoy the world, I enjoy moving in it, I enjoy the story and most of the characters (even Sera is growing on me if you can imagine!) so I see no reason to no replay it.  And when I get bored there are always other games to turn to.

I love playing the games as a whole with all the different character types, consequences and romance options. I also love that the world and everything in it feels believable to me. I have three complete world states of Dragon Age Origins and Dragon Age II, therefore I plan on having a total of three runs of Dragon Age Inquisition. My first playthrough is always cannon, because it is when I don't know what to expect and everything is a surprise. It feels to me like every decision is more real and less artificially created than the ones following the first go.

I am about to finish my second DA:I run and immediately move on to the third. Once I have completed that I will move on to other games (I have a bunch just waiting to be played). I have three additional world states in my head, though not having spare time to get to them would be the major reason not to play again.

There is no single aspect that would ever keep me from replaying. Wicked eyes, wicked hearts does come close I suppose as I also despise having to slog through that part again as well. However, it's never been bad enough to stop me from playing... it's simply the part of the game I know the best so I can get through it much quicker.

As a reason to replay however, the golden nug and dye machine did wonders for me. I'm a very aesthetic player, so being able to just sync up the schematics so I could wear and use them MUCH earlier on and really enjoy my time made all the difference. Making new and different story choices is always a good excuse to replay, but I personally get more enjoyment from it when my Inquisitor and team are all looking sharp and respectable. So I suppose it really comes down to the ability to tailor and customize the overall story and experience all the way down to what this particular inquisitor wears in their leisure time.

I played through it 5 times. And with my 6th I was halfway when I lost interest and uninstalled the game. I had a lot of fun with the game throughout all those 5 playthroughs tho, most notably with my DW Assassin. The damage output was insane.

Believe I've done 5 or 6 play through. Stopped on the current one because the world of Fallout kept calling me.

The Trespasser DLC.

And then the opposite question what would for you all be the reason that you would do another playthrough of Inquisition again would it be a romance you want to find out or is it something else.

Some of the characters, like Josephine and Cole.

DAO is my biggest obstacle to replaying DAI, every time I try making a new Inquisitor I always end up playing DAO instead.

So what would for you all be the reason to play or not play another playthrough of Inquistion again ?

The reasons why I won't do another playthrough at this time:

(1) I already did five playthroughs.

(2) I dislike winning the main plot but losing everything I gained in the epilogue.

(3) There are other games to play.

(4) I can't play non-completionist games, but the many collection quests are increasingly not-enjoyable.

(5) I don't have a character concept I want to try.

The only reasons I might do another playthrough in spite of the listed reasons not to do so would be:

(1) If another expansion was released.

(2) I'd replay my main Inquisitors to refresh my connection with the world just before a new DA game is released.

I can't speak for Isaidlunch, but I feel generally less constrained in DAO than in DAI, so I understand how people may end up playing DAO instead. It's just that I have DAO more or less memorized, with 14 playthroughs of 12 characters in my playing history, so I've more or less exhausted it.

I love DAI so much and have so many hours in the game that I'm actually too embarrassed to share the actual number. :P

But you did not give me a single reason of why you would play DA I again you just say that you played it a lot  ;).

You don't have to be embarrassed at all you can tell me i won't tell anyone else your secret  :P.

I've played as male and female Inquisitors, and played four diff specs and there is a lot of different dialogue depending on what you choose. As a male Trev I was a lot more argumentative and the dialogue was actually more interesting in many cases rather than the gentle understanding female i always opted dialogue for.

Also game play as diff specs is more or less satisfying depending on what you prefer. I really enjoyed being an archer, but not so much a mage though the dialogue for mage is more interesting with Cullen.

So many paths through the game so multiple play throughs are a must!

Yes to play this game only once that would be not possible at least not for me there are just so many paths and so many different choices to make impossible to do that in only one playthrough so yeah multiple playthroughs are a must ;)

Yep, I have stated in other threads why I enjoy playing the game and I don't really feel like going over it again. Sorry. I deleted my original post.
