Considering we have a new engine and different variables combat is probably going to be way more dynamic. There's probably going to be different guns and melee abilities. Maybe we can choose different styles like the batarian brawler, smashing and hacking at enemies, or dual omni blades you can strike enemies with. How bout some kick boxing with the enemy. Or Maybe just the regular butt of the gun. I can see the protagonist being like Jean Claude Van damme. Maybe with the booster we can ram into enemies like the turian ghost and stick an omni blade in their face, captain America the enemies with an omni shield. Or pick them up and ram them into the ground. There should be all sorts of options. For guns maybe more than just two mods. Maybe more ammo type options like in Mass Effect 1. And more heavy melee options. I would love to biotic charge into and enemy and uppercut em with an omni fist. Bioware tells us we'll have more freedom, let's have it. Let's choose how we want to fight our battles.

1. As for selecting the melee style for your protagonist and at least knowing it for MP characters - all for it.

2. Selectable firing modes for all guns, where applicable (I mean switching between semi-auto, short bursts and full auto. Mattock, Argus and Harrier as three different weapons seemed fairly foolish for me - there should be one rifle with selectable modes. BTW, the Mattock has M96 Auto version - in ME Infiltrator. Or Eagle not able to fire single shots like Phalanx also beyond any kind of military logic. And so much on.).

3. Special ammo shouldn't be expendables, being defined instead by ammo feed system, installed on the weapon.

4. Grenades should be equipment, not abilities. And there should be lots of types - frag, cryo, incendiary, warp, arc,

5. Separate melee weapons as a part of customization - also would be good.

6. Different classes of armor suits - light, medium, heavy, super-heavy (like MAX from Planetside or Goliath XS1 from CoD:AW).

7. Various enhanced mobility systems like jetpacks, maybe personal teleporters.

8. Various heavy weapons as a separate slot.

9. Combi-weapons (like assault rifle with underslung grenade launcher or like M-37 Falcon was done in ME: Infiltrator - assault rifle and shotgun combined in one weapon and switchable).

I only put out two. You should see some other people. I've seen 9 from the same person in 30 minutes.

You really want our PC (humanity's general), the one responsible for finding a New Home, get down and dirty like that?

Do we have a choice? We're a soldier. In order to ensure that humanity and the other species survive we have to fight. I'm assuming that khet aren't very friendly or civilized. They most likely won't show mercy. Let's return the favor.

I would not mind a few melee moves as Shepard was very bad in the melee department.

Shepard did whoop everyone's @$$ so....... But yeah better technique and moves is a must. He was N7 after all. Best gear, best training.

I did like how the six classes have different visuals and all in their melee moves in ME3. Maybe that can be expanded on.

I kind of wanted my vanguard to have the heavy melee of the sentinel or the batarian soldier in MP.

Let's itemize - he was damn good in cut-scenes and terribad in the gameplay itself.

P.S. About the cutscenes as such - the machinima (aka "made on the game engine") ones from the ME1 should return. Seeing the Shepard and squadmates armed with the very basic weapons in the end of campaing pissed me off pretty much :-))
