It bothers the heck out of me. And not only the geth scanner, also the krogan rage thing and the Destroyer's devastator mode. Anything that adds more clutter and weird dizzy or blurry effects on screen.

If they plan to introduce such abilities on ME:A I hope with all my hearth they make them less invasive.

It's pretty easy to do the double equip bug but the circumstances have to be right, when you get to a lobby after a game, switch gear, then if the host leaves, you should have both, you can then add two out of three of armor amp/weapon amp/ammo. Never done it on purpose but had it happen to me a few times.

 

I'll give it a try today and if this works, you'll always be 7twohero in my heart.

I can agree with the less invasive. But I love the Adrenaline's orange tint and taking it out would be a major graphics step down.

Might have to specifically still be in the equipment selection menus after switching gear, forgot to add that part, not sure if it's essential though, maybe have a friend test it out with you my making and leaving lobbies and stuff, let us know how it goes

Seems like that definitely works, just happened now. Can't confirm bug is doable if you exit the equipment menus before host leaves, but I switched gears and was equipping other consumables and a host left and I had the new and the old gears equipped, omni capacitors and geth scanner.
