But you already have god mode in 2 and 3, it's called the Soldier class. Best health, strongest shields. highest weight capacity. Best range of powers (ammo became a power). There is no situation that the Soldier is not suited for.
Soldier doesn't have any more health or shields than the other classes in ME3. Also has the same exact starting weight capacity (75). The only difference is potential weight capacity bonus. The problem is that Soldier's passive is arranged such that it is counter productive to take half (50) of the bonus since it is opposed to Weapon Master. For every single other class, the last weight capacity is opposed to a relatively useless evolution. Practically speaking Vanguard, Infiltrator, and Sentinel end up with more capacity bonus than Soldier (70), and Adepts and Engineers end up with the same (50). Nevermind that Vanguard and Sentinel get more damage reduction (50%) from their skills. Infiltrator gets the least balanced vanilla power in the game (Tac Cloak).
In ME2 Soldier does have ok health bonuses, and gets a storm speed bonus (which is non-trivial). The mechanics of the class are relatively straightforward, but Sentinel is much closer to a very loose definition of "god mode" here.
