I think they mean that you said you didn't like shooters on a console in your original post.  I'm playing as an adept right now and there's much more emphasis on powers, I'm shooting less, so it's a good class if you're having trouble with the guns on the console.

Yes that is true i do not like shooters on a console ( except when it is with auto aim then it makes no difference ) but i am still confused how do i kill my enemies then and you are talking about emphasis on powers is that some some sort of magic ?

Indeed, but it also depends on what profession you play as. My guess is that you're playing as a soldier perhaps? Let's you improve on all weapons (accuracy, damage heating buildup etc) and you can wear heavy armour.

Other classes like the Adept and the Sentinel can use Biotics, which is pretty much magic, that lets you lift opponents up in the air or throw them off their feet for example.

Tech Classes like Sentinel (again) and Engineer can overheat enemy weapons, damage their shields or hack mechs to fight for you for s short time.

Playing as any of them lets you take a different approach to fights than just shooting wildly, which can make many fights easier too.

The adept class is the most power based class.  With other classes you rely on your weapons a lot, but with the adept you can spend most of the fight using powers.  They're just like spells really, and you can keep casting them whilst letting your squadmates focus on shooting.

You'll still have to shoot, but it isn't the most important thing for the adept.

Did you pick quick start by any chance when playing the game? This gives you the soldier class by default.

Selecting custom character lets you pick class and facial appearance too.

No i don't think so but i am not sure about that either because you are talking about facial appearance and i do not recall that i have seen that option. But normally when i play a game i never use the quick start option i always try to create my own PC if the option is there of course.

You can play adept with a new character, but you can't switch in the middle of the game.  You can switch at the start of ME2 so it depends how far in you are.  If you've completed a couple of the major quest planets then perhaps you want to just get through as quickly as possible to ME2, or if you're still in the beginning then start again.

I'm not even sure if i am a Warrior maybe i am an adept without knowing it. I only did some side quests and i am not so far in the game yet at least i am sure about that.

Sounds like you must have picked the quick-start option, as that is the option that doesn't let you pick class or appearance on your character, only your name.

Make sure to try out custom-male or custom-female and you will be given more options on defining your character.  :)

If you open the character screen where you level up your character it will also say what class you are left of the skill tree.

The skill tree itself will tell you what class you are as soldier is the only class that can level in all four weapon types (pistols, sniper rifles, assault rifles and shotguns).

Other classes will have different branches like Electronics, Decryption, Throw, Lift, Barrier and so on.

We have all been at that stage where you have no idea what you are doing at the beginning and you have to figure out how it all works.  ;)

Yes you can play as female and change your appearance if you restart.

If you do a restart read what it says for all the different classes so you pick what you like.

Some of it probably has to do with that you don't really know what to expect at first. Even a small challenge can feel hard if you're not even sure if you are doing ithings right yet.
Next time you will know more what is going on, but hopefully you will also know more of the tools you have available.

I feel your pain, I was once pretty good with the Xbox hand held controller, but It seems like now when I grab the thing, in a first person shooter, and try to aim, next thing you know, I am staring at the sky, trying to bring my pointer back down, and then I am dead.

I am sure if I take a little time I could get back to some reasonable ability, but I just don't feel like it when I have such smooth, mouse ability on my Computer, and multiple keys to assign most anyway I want.

Consoles are just trash for me, I only use them for those games I like that are exclusive to one console or the other, and I like them. Otherwise if I can get it on PC, there is no way I will play it on a console, this is something that I learned after I graduated away from console's, and got my first Good PC.

A couple of games I do play with a controller, on PC because the Mouse in the game is screwed  "Dark Souls 1 & 2"

I find it much easier to kill thresher maws on foot than in mako.  I never use the mako for them anymore.. even on insanity difficulty.

Park the mako behind knoll at the perimeter of the thresher maw's flat area and run out onto the flat on foot with either a pistol or an assault rifle ready (depending on which you are "trained" in (most points and depending on your class)..  When the maw appears (ground rumbles) quickly check your radar to see where it has come up (red blotch) then face it and keep a bit of distance away and move in a sideways circle around it in either direction (clockwise or counter-clockwise - whichever you are most comfortable) continually shooting at hit.  It's a big target, so aiming should not be a problem.  Stop shooting only to prevent overheats or if your gun does overheat, but DO NOT stop moving.  When your gun cools down, start shooting again.  You may lose your squad as they tend to fall behind and get hit, but Shepard will keep ahead of the thresher acid as long as you continue moving around the circle at full run.  The maw will eventually go down... and should actually go down quite fast on casual difficulty.  If you take squad mates who use assault rifles with you, the maw will go down even quicker as they will fire on it as well (until they get hit and go down).

If the maw head "lunges" towards you and kills you, it means you're too close to the maw.  Try again and make the diameter of your circle larger.

Also, when the maw first appears, it will 99.9% of the time be the "right distance from you to just start your circle maintaining that distance.  I have only had 1 maw in all the times I've done this that came up right close to me and killed me before I had any chance at all to start my circle.  That was in insanity difficulty where the maws do tend to appear and then go down again and come up in a different place more frequently.
