Okay thank you and i already do and by that i mean bring him along.

Another thing that wonders me while playing Science Fiction games is will we ever see an Alien in real life and how will they look like. Will they look like a Krogan or some other species in the ME Universe and will they be friendly. Because i cannot imagine that Earth is the only planet out there ( there are billions of planets out there ) who has intelligent life on it.

Btw that avatar you use is that the guy ( i don't remember his name ) from Dungeon Keeper 1 and 2 because he looks like him.

My avatar is Lord Darkness from the movie Legend.

What if the life we meet is like the alien in the movie Alien?

I would love it if there was a Citadel out there, and many cool species to interact with.  I'd just hope it doesn't all end like ME3.

Okay.

Well in that case i don't want to meet them let them stay there far away from us "friendly humans"  :D.

Me to i wish i would live in some sort of ME Star Wars Star Trek kind of universe where i have to use my spaceship to hop from Planet to Planet that would be so cool.

And then say something like this : space the final frontier these are the voyages of the starship Patricia ( that's what i would call my Spaceship lol ) to explore strange new worlds and new Civilizations. To boldly go where no woman ( it should be man but i am not a man ) has gone before.

If you take along a strawberry milkshake on the trip it will be where no strawberry milkshake has gone before either.  :P

The space hamsters has most likely gone there before though, clever little rodents.

Ok, no one said this, so let me give you my own tip for thresher maws. This is a almost fail proof strategy:

Thresher maw nests are aways huge round and flat terrains, with some pretuberances sticking out of the ground. So do this when they show up: Move with the mako on top of one of these pretuberances and do not move (buf if the Maw shows up at melee range, get the hell out!), then proceed to shoot it with the turret and the canon. The maw will try to spit acid on you. You can notice they tilt their head a little when they do that. Once they launch the spit at you, use the mako thrusters to jump up, if you time it right, the maw will never hit you. After that, it will be only a matter of time before it's dead.

Also, once the Maw health is critically low, exit the mako and finish it off on foot, so you will gain large ammounts of extra XP.

I'm simply going to have to find me time to do another ME1 run.  The issue is that I am a perfectionist, so I will have to do all of the keepers, all of the UNC quests - the Prothean Sphere - ALL of everything Including DLC).

Strangely, I enjoy this twisted form of torture.  I miss the vastness and grandeur of that game, and some incredible vistas.  To think that it is all out there and that I will never get to see it saddens me.  Well, at least as far as the planets orbiting all of those crazy colored stars, binary systems and whatnot.  I thought that the ME1 Citadel was the best in the series, along with that music.

I should get back to work and stop reminiscing.

If you bring a chocolate flavored milkshake with you that would be fine by me but how long do you think this trip will be that milksahke will go bad before we reach our destination.

True... I guess no milkshake will ever boldly go where no milkshake has ever gone before.  :(

Especially since they have already gone to our stomachs previously.

I am going a bit of topic here but i really like Urdnot Wrex's voice it has a very nice timbre/tone. The only thing is that he is quite grumpy btw will he stay grumpy the entire game ?

Wrex is one of my favorite characters.  The Krogan have issues, to be sure, but they also are a "sassy" independent bunch and they are "smarter than they look."  A lot of what the krogan(s) say in all three games is really just gruff humor.  As suggested, be sure to take him with you on the elevators on the citadel and with different squadmates for some really fun comments.  He's also has a lot of great comments during the main missions... as do the other squad mates (which is why it's worthwhile doing those more than once with different squadmates... either by replaying them during your playthrough... or playing the entire game over again (which is why I have so many playthroughs under my belt) :)  BTW, if a squad mate utters a "Huh" or something similar as you're walking around, it's a cue to stop and click on them so they can make a comment about the environment or the mission, etc. at that point.

Okay thank you for this post you and some others made me quite curious what Wrex has to say in elevators to my other companions. Another quick question will "i" ever say something in elevators to because so far she has not spoken even one word in those elevators. I cannot yet say that Wrex will be one of my favorite characters because i am only at the start of the game but i do like him so far. Btw how many playthroughs do you have under your belt ? And i will also write that one down in my little walkthrough book is that when my companions say "huh" or something similar that i should talk to them ;).

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but here are some things I also discovered along the way :)

If your squad mates die, run away from enemies far enough, and they will be revived automatically. If you're in one of these side quest buildings, you can go outside and your squaddies will be revived as well. Even the enemies that were killed previously in there are still dead, you don't need to start from scratch.

If your Mako is badly damaged, just drive far enough away from enemies to be able to save. When you reload the save, the Mako is fully recovered. (Note: I am on PS3 and I don't know if that works for PC/XBox as well)

User cap and gown recently mentioned how there's several places you can just run by enemies. That means you won't need to fight them, but sometimes if you have to go back, they're still there where you left them, and of course you also won't get any EXP.

Thresher Maws have been discussed already, but I also always stay still in front of the maw and jump over the acid ever since I saw it was possible. It's quite easy to dodge it :)

Also keep in mind that if they say "Huh." and you forget to talk to them they will get offended. They will sit down on the ground and cross their arms and look away while going "Hmph!" if you try to interact with them.

I wish i had known that before that when your squad mates die i just should run away far enough to revive them as i mentioned to other people here before your squad mates have not a high AI they are quite stupid when it comes to fighting enemies.

Okay i will do that also.

Well i'm not a sissy so i will fight them no matter what even if they kill me  ;).

Yes true but i also will write that down in my little walkthrough book.

Another tip. Dont sell gear from level I to III. Instead, break it down to omnigel. You can use it to reapir themako, easily break locks, etc

They all have interesting things to say all over the place - from the Presidium to the Krogan Statue - and even who watches the Avina conversation with you beside said statue.  Even the Relay Monument  brings up pretty funny stuff depending on who is with you.  ME 1 is a rich game full of, well, awesomeness.

Well what i am reading so far and you and others also mention/ed it here and before with all the party banter is that the game almost forces me to do more then one playthrough to hear them all. And it is also difficult who to bring with me in my party when they all have something to say about certain situations.

Well, I think I recently answered a poll with 15 ME1 complete playthroughs and about the same for both ME2 and ME3.  That's deceptive though because I often re-enter old saves time and again and just replay certain missions using different squadmates or making alternate decisions just to see what different "lines" I can open up.  So, the total is probably way higher.  I'm retired... so I often have a lot of time on my hands these days and I like to play games of all types.

Unfortunately, Shepard won't say anything in the elevators in ME1.  He/she does get more automatic interactive lines (responses to wisecracks and such) in ME2 and ME3 (none of these involve choices made by the player though... which seems to bend some of the BSNers out of shape though. :) )

If you're not aware, there is an excellent Mass Effect Wiki that provides lots of tips and can help you prepare for missions, It also has maps of the planets you visit and such.
