Well what i am reading so far and you and others also mention/ed it here and before with all the party banter is that the game almost forces me to do more then one playthrough to hear them all. And it is also difficult who to bring with me in my party when they all have something to say about certain situations.

Life is a journey, not a destination.  Each of my playthroughs is different as to LI, main right hand man, class, paragon/renegade, playorder - all of it.  Its a fun Galaxy, experience it at your own pace.  Even after all of these years I get back into it.  After a while it's hard to find new stuffs.

I too am a boss at work, but I'm not The Boss.  I set my own hours and am pretty much completely autonomous.  It's good to be the King.  :)

Well, I think I recently answered a poll with 15 ME1 complete playthroughs and about the same for both ME2 and ME3.  That's deceptive though because I often re-enter old saves time and again and just replay certain missions using different squadmates or making alternate decisions just to see what different "lines" I can open up.  So, the total is probably way higher.  I'm retired... so I often have a lot of time on my hands these days and I like to play games of all types.

Unfortunately, Shepard won't say anything in the elevators in ME1.  He/she does get more automatic interactive lines (responses to wisecracks and such) in ME2 and ME3 (none of these involve choices made by the player though... which seems to bend some of the BSNers out of shape though. :) )

If you're not aware, there is an excellent Mass Effect Wiki that provides lots of tips and can help you prepare for missions, It also has maps of the planets you visit and such.

Then i have a looong way to go if i will even reach the 15 times i myself am not retired yet that to is a looong way to go  :D.

Yeah i thought so that Shepard will never talk in elevators in ME 1 unfortunately.

Thanks that will also come in handy ;)

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but here are some things I also discovered along the way :)

If your squad mates die, run away from enemies far enough, and they will be revived automatically. If you're in one of these side quest buildings, you can go outside and your squaddies will be revived as well. Even the enemies that were killed previously in there are still dead, you don't need to start from scratch.

If your Mako is badly damaged, just drive far enough away from enemies to be able to save. When you reload the save, the Mako is fully recovered. (Note: I am on PS3 and I don't know if that works for PC/XBox as well)

User cap and gown recently mentioned how there's several places you can just run by enemies. That means you won't need to fight them, but sometimes if you have to go back, they're still there where you left them, and of course you also won't get any EXP.

4 playthroughs and I didn't know any of that.  -_-

Also keep in mind that if they say "Huh." and you forget to talk to them they will get offended. They will sit down on the ground and cross their arms and look away while going "Hmph!" if you try to interact with them.

Spoiler

You're such a tease.  :P

The first time I figured out that you could dance with your LI in Flux I had to record it.  Treats like that, Shifty Looking Cows, Prothean Spheres, Pulse Rifle X with mod slots and lots more made me enjoy the game that much more.  I literally went to every planet and mined every single anything - even on some crazy hilly green planets that pushed the limit of the patented Goat Climb Technology of the Mako.

I've been to all the planets and was exploring every inch, until the last half dozen when I lost the will to live.

There are some beautiful vistas in those barren landscapes though, especially with MEUITM installed.

I've done the others but what's the rifle with mod slots??

I hope they haven't renewed that patent for the new Mako.  <_<

Thanks for the heads-up with your referral to the Mass Effect Wiki UpUpAway95.  I'm a new player to this wonderful game, and have been following & enjoying your conversations with  Patricia08 and learning a lot about the game & its Lore.  I'm also a Chris Roberts Star Citizen, and I'm wondering if both you & Patricia08 have found either or the time or interest in SC, and if you have, how do either of you rate it with Mass Effect?

Star Citizen certainly sounds like a game I would enjoy... however, I don't think it's available on the Xbox and I don't really have a computer powerful enough to play games.  My son does... but he doesn't let this old timer mess with it. :)   He's away on a job right now, but I'll ask him about Star Citizen when he gets back.  I know he's been playing a space exploration game on his computer lately, but I don't know the name of it.

When you get your apartment after making that bet with Ahern in the Pinnacle Station DLC, you get a terminal that you can make purchases through.  It can give you some pretty awesome stuff, like Savant amps, top of the line Omni Tolls, and guns like the pulse rifle.

Every time?  Yikes, I cut the games up and do it all over a few characters so I don't get bored.

Thanks for your prompt reply 95.  I play on a PC and thinking about buying a console but I'm torn between the Xbox & Ps4.  Which do you recommend as there appears to be no appreciable difference in price?   Btw, I'm somewhat dissatisfied with the faintness of the text of these posts, and I see no way to adjust it using the text options above.  Must I continually use bold print, and are you aware of an option to chose an alternate Forum interface?  Some Forums have this option.  The difference in bold & plain text as you notice in my initial post is cuz when I copied your handle the following text automatically switched to bold!?

I would say ( i am not @UpUpAway95 obviously ) go for the PS 4 but that's my opinion i will not say that the Xbox one is bad but for me the PS 4 is just better ( but just a little ).

I'm partial to the Xbox.  My 360 has performed extremely well for a number of years now... and it's seen a lot of hours of use.  My Xbox One has worked fine so far as well (just anxiously waiting for ME2 and ME3 to become backwards compatible).  However, I also have other family members who lean towards the PS consoles and still others who are adamant PC gamers (where they can mod their games).  So, I'm afraid I'm not much help there.

Try going to the bottom of the page, click 'change theme' and try out the BioWare dark option.

Imo, I'd stick with PC.  Better graphics and modding capabilities that put consoles in the shade.  Just my two cents though, if I couldn't mod DAO and ME1 it'd be a much weaker experience for me.  Plus I can fix bugs that console players are stuck with.

I do not agree with you all the way here nowadays the graphics on my PS 4 or Xbox one are as beautiful as the graphics on my PC there is not much differents in the three of them just minor.

I disagree, those who have high end PCs have found that the performance is far far better than a console.

Besides, with PCs you can upgrade components whenever you like, with a console it's set in aspic from the day you buy it.  Then there's the fact that console games are just so damn expensive, with PC I can wait for sales.

How to play ME1? Hmm. Push the start button. hahahahahahahaha

Do a speedrun. I finished the game in 3 hours 26 minutes. A lot of things can be avoid by running by or driving by. When in the Mako, I never used the mian gun. If something got in the way, I ran it over or in a few cases jump over it. I only did enough to keep the story moving forward. Not recruiting Wrex helped. I did the Therun mission in under 10 minutes.  Outstanding.

Another thing is have Ashley kill Wrex and receive no renegade points. excellent. I did that in a paragon playthrough however long ago.

There's many ways to play the game. Just play it the way you want. If you miss doing something in a playthrough, do it in another playthrough.

I know some people have had issues.  I do keep mine well ventilated... may be that's what makes such a difference.  I have replaced the power supply a couple of times (when lightning struck near the farm and surged the power suddenly... yeah, I'm rural).  We actually have 2 Xbox 360s here - one is almost an "original."  My son bought one when they first came out and it succumbed to RROD.  It was replaced under warranty and he still has it... it's still functional.  Mine is a slim, bought when they first came out.
