The different versions are only alternate lines for certain gendered things, such as the line about hats for m/m; it's not radically different for the different genders.
I'm torn on the follower reactions. I like the Dorian-related ones. While I wouldn't have minded more such remarks, those were usually enough (I've never managed to get the Cole one, sadly). However, I don't like the ones that are too explicit about my PC's sex life, so I don't care for the Iron Bull or Sera ones, but that's sort of what you sign up for with those LIs, so it's not surprising. It's just not my thing. BUT I will say that the poor Josephine and Cullen-mancers get shafted in that regard, so I feel for them. Some random war table remarks aren't really the same as every follower having a remark for follower romances while you're wandering around in the party.
Oh, that's odd. Are males supposed to wear fancy hats at weddings in Thedas? Cullen didn't
Oh, to be honest I didn't know to what extent the companions commented on romances to other companions (I knew there was some, but not how much), because I've only romanced Cullen, and like you said, it's quite disappointing that not one of your companions has anything to say about it. No well-wishes, no attempts at embarrassing you, and not even inappropriate questions
I wouldn't be a fan of the ones that detail their sex life either, but those aren't required, I would have liked something. And thanks for your sympathy
It is rather depressing that the only comment from the inner circle is at the War Table, and for Cullen it's only one line from Leliana, none from Josephine.
One thing I really wished they could've fixed was the end game greetings with your love interest. I wish Cassandra could've said, "It's good to see you, my love," or something along those lines, instead of just, "Inquisitor."
That just made the romance seem dead afterward the main plot.
Yeah, I agree with you and Nightscrawl. The game feels rather dead after the end, which sucks, because it kind of defeats the purpose of letting you play after the end by encouraging you to do everything beforehand. Oddly enough though, Cullen says that "you look lovely today" after the end, but he never says that before
