Well, I know how Cassandra feels about mages in general. I sided with the mages, but I made them prisoners and Cassandra approved of that. I think it has more or less to do with that. But I think it should have been a slight disapproval if anything. I had Vivienne in the party as well and she wasn't happy I let her drink. But it seemed like Morrigan's intentions were good for a change.
I didn't enjoy Isabella's romance very much in DA2 and the Merrill romance completely glitched for me so she never became a romance choice for me. I was a bit disappointed that female Hawke gets a good romance in Fenris (I will not do gay romances). I'd rather play as a male in Bioware games. So yes, I am happy Cassandra's romance turned out to be good. I do like a few of her scenes in Trespasser as well.
And ha! You are like me, I have been in the mood to play ME again myself along with DA as well. Oddly enough, I find Miranda has become my favorite love interest in ME series. Oddly enough, she is also dark haired and hard on the outside and soft on the inside. I was totally a Tali fan until I gave Miranda a chance. I might prefer her now
And not that anyone gives a crap, but here is a video of my Inquisitor and Cassandra.
I think it is because Cassandra has seen what the mages can do and wish to have some sort of control over them. To be honest with you, I haven't actually finished the previous Dragon Age games, oops!
Isabella strikes me as someone who is fierce and has a darker side to her. But then again, I haven't really played DA 2, so I can't really comment on those romances. Though I am glad you enjoyed Cassandra's ![]()
Well, I am almost done ME 2 and I want to romance Miranda. But this is my first time playing the trilogy and I previously romanced Liara. So you can say that I am caught in a dilemma whether I should pursue a relationship with Miranda or stay faithful to Liara
But Tali is so cute, her voice too!!
Nice video

At this stage of the game, I can barely stand Cassandra. She's yet another Chantry zealot as far as I'm concerned. I'm a Dalish Elf and a Mage at that. I'm uncomfortable enough with all the templars around.
Cullen gets on my nerves. Don't think that just because I'm Dalish that I haven't heard tales of Cullen's part in the happenings at the Circle in Fereldon during the fifth blight. I would much rather Cullen not be part of the Inquisition at all. He has the tendency to be unstable in the presence of a powerful mage.
However, this is about Cassandra.... I absolutely cannot stand this title that they've given me and I renounce it with every opportunity. I want nothing at all to do with do with this title or the god that is perpetrated by the chantry. Cassandra does nothing at all to qwell the idea of what this title is supposed be. I'm merely a Dalish Elf Mage that happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Not to mention that she disapproves of me putting people before the chantry's teachings. Well honey, I'm Dalish and we do not worship your god.
She also obviously favors the templars over mages which makes her a poor choice for any mage, much less a Dalish mage.
I understand completely where you are coming from! Yes Cassandra's views on the Chantry can be seen as rather overzealous, but she does agree that it needs proper reforms to keep order. Though not everyone will agree with what she has in mind.
I hope that maybe some day Cassandra will understand that not everybody believes in the Maker and the Chantry's ways. But later on in the game, she does understand and give you, the inquisitor, a chance. I hope that you can give her another chance too!

Kind of a Descent spoiler, but I like how on the elevator ride down Cassandra says they should be careful of raw lyrium, and the Inquisitor says he's more worried about finding darkspawn. I know this is said between any Inquisitor and Cassandra, but for a male mage who romanced her I think it holds special meaning. She's worried about the element that is most dangerous to him, and he's worried about the element that is most dangerous to her.
I actually don't have that DLC! But from what you have shared, I'm going to agree with you that they do sound worried for one another, which I find incredibly sweet!
