I think if BW's mature enough to have queer gender romances in-game, they can have boob sliders.

Having non-heterosexual romances and having a breast slider are two very different things and if I'm being honest, the latter does not seem to be much about maturity.

I'd be surprised if most of the base didn't at least toggle the slider a couple times real quick, if only for the effect.

I hear ya though. I just think it's not a bad time for BW to take a deep breath and go the extra step with their 'creator.

i agree on that, and it seems Bioware might've been interested in doing something similar in DAI before the race option. We'll see what they decided for MEA.

I'll be honest and say I was not bothered about the hair because the other features in the Character Creator were things I wanted more. If Mass Effect has the same features, I'm not going to care about hair. It's the other things such as moveable scars, freckles and such that I think makes a character more visually interesting but that's just me.

The problem is that the hair's quality is far, far worse then rest of the game, and the character's face.

We're talking on lower settings?

Yeah, that's why I'd want them to work on improving them this time around.

Needs more real time beard growth like The Witcher 3, imo.

I'd love something like that, though I'm pessimistic that they'd put it.

If the ladies want bigger boobs whatever. If the men want bigger arms whatever. Whats not to like? Past rpg's have done it. Why not now?

No, i'm talking on the highest one I think. Regardless if PC, PS4 or Xbox One, I didn't see a single screenshot of hair quality in DAI that I'd say is good, for a game that was released in 2014.

I don't quite get the calls for longer hair.  I have long hair and the second I'm about to do something I tie it up, so if I was in combat you'd bet I'd be putting it into a ponytail.

Long hair is just unrealistic to me, I never pick it even with modded DAO as it'd just get in their eyes and get all tangly.  More styles for long hair yes, more braids and bunches and things would be great.

Wait breast sliders?

This isn't a Saint's Row game.

If people want to fetishize a female protagonist, I'm sure mods will handle that. I highly doubt BioWare would actually put in breast sliders. And sorry putting in breast sliders does not sound like a mature move like allowing non-heterosexual romances.

You do know we're talking about a game right? No insanely long hair.

Lol, yeah, but women with flowy hair and lots of make up bug the crap outta me in video games, how the hell they're supposed to save the world whilst 'ooh wait a second my mascara is smudged' is beyond me.

Playing on max settings on PC it's still not good when compared to the rest of the game. It's even worse when put side by side to something like The Witcher 3 which came out only a few months later.

Especially the beards for some reason. They can look really bad in DA:I even at max settings.

Because people go for aesthetic over function when creating a character in a video game and I generally prefer longer hair.

I don't think Miranda's breast are big enough to mean that allowing your character to have them means fetishizing her though.

I don't really care about the breast slider, and I do agree that it's not comparable at all to implementing non-heterosexual romances, but it doesn't have to lead to fetishizing the female protagonist.

Even if I'm uninterested in it, my post was not about it as a request but about how I'm just not seeing how breast sliders are the same as non-heterosexual romances including in maturity.

To be honest with you, I'm indifferent. I just hope the women aren't painfully scrawny. I know girls aren't as big as guys but come on.

Beards I'll grant since I can see that especially as one of mine wore what I affectionately call a cheese doodle beard because of how it looked like he hadn't cleaned his face after a bowl of 'em. Hair less so on higher setting but it may just be I have a bad eye for that sort of thing.

For the hairstyles, Bioware isn't forced to put long hair like Yennefer. Personally, i'd just like a lot more stylish short hairstyles !  Not just buzzcut. Not only it remains realistic, since hair isn't an issue, but it's also aesthetic. The soldiers I see with short hair look cool, i'd like my male and female character to look cool too.

Seriously, the ony thing that Bioware needs is going on google to see what it looks like with tons of different models. I'm pretty sure that people wouldn't even mind if there weren't long hair at all with many beautiful short hairstyles in the character creator.

Also, i agree about beards and tatoos, and scars.

Well if I'm being fair, the texture quality isn't terrible on the hair. It's mostly that it doesn't move in ways that suggest natural physics, mostly because the hair pretty much doesn't move at all. That's why I say it looks like plastic.

I hate to keep bringing up The Witcher 3, but they really do have some damn good hair physics =P

Personally I'd rather have some longer hair options.

It's not like the game isn't already being unrealistic in a dozen other ways. Hair is a pretty minor thing when it comes to that department.

Hairs were better then beards, true. Though I still think they need improvements quality wise. And beards were absolutely horrible. I mean, even the stubble looks worse then other older games.

That's true. And beside, we had two character with longer hairs compared to the PC in ME (Miranda and Ashley).

Let's put aside sexual immaturity which would be generated by this option. There are women who have very large breasts. There are some with very small breasts. Maybe they wouldn't mind be represented too. Maybe they want to play the games as themselves. Personally, i like creating different kinds of characters and should be able to differentiate them if i covered their head. I like variety and breast size is a feature of women i think everyone should be able to toggle.
