There's no reason for every male protag to be buff while every female protag is built all goofy, like FemShep in ME3. Why should an Adept be as ripped as a Soldier? Why should a male hero be expected to look like Chris Evans while the female hero can look like an anorexic with big hips?

It was a bit iffy, but you can at least spin you character all the way around. It's almost good enough.

That's what I've been saying. Have you seen any of the crossfit girls? Or MMA women like Rhonda Rousey? That's exactly how they should be built. Totally agree. In ME aren't there fiber implants in muscle and bone that make you stronger? I've heard something about that.

We are talking about an action hero, in a videogame. Have you seen any of the arms on the Delta force or devgru guys? But joker shouldn't have been as muscular as he was. He did have brittle bone disease.

You just moved the goal posts. Before you were suggesting that military = muscle. Now it's more about them being an action hero.

And either way, giving the player a range of muscle sizes to choose from is a good idea. Until you have to worry about the challenges of fitting the body type to certain romance or fight scenes.

I've met a lot of slender women in the military. There's no consistent default body type.

Who are we playing as in ME? A military action hero. Basically. I'm a fan of all those 80's movies with stallone and Arnie.

exactly. But, this is my opinion, if women want to join the special forces community, which is no easy task even for men, they need to train head over heels and be at the peak of human physical condition. I'm talkin hardcore crossfit women. I'd expect to see them all ripped. Women have no problem running and stuff. Men have the stronger upper body, women have the stronger lower body.

Maybe we can actually create Asian faces since the series has never given us an option to create one, and Asian eyes are actually imported properly.

In term of what I want, I hope to be able to create actual Asian characters this time around. I have created Black, White, and South Asian characters, but making an East Asian Character is still a chore. I hope they include an Asian face pre-set this time since almost every single time, we have to modify a pre-set White face to make an Asian looking face, and it just wouldn't work. Asians have different looks and features from a typical White person, their eyes may be smaller, single eyelid or double eyelid, broader nose, less sharp ridges, bigger lips, etc. By creating a pre-set for Asian, they could take into account various Asian features that they never notice before while making a character creations, and provide a broader range of facial features for more people.

Height slider is about the only thing I want. Bioware could implement a thing where NPCs track your head and look up or down depending on how tall you are. It doesn't have to be super extensive, for men it could be anywhere from 5'0 to 6'8 and 4'10 to 6'8 for women, as per military standard. It'd be neat to customize your own hair based on defaults similar to how you can choose default faces and customize on top of them, but that might be too complicated.

I guess. Especially for cutscenes.

It would never happen, it's a clipping nightmare, you can already see how it was implemented with DAI, you either see a headless qunari and a body less dwarf, more over, character interactions would make it very hard to do, like when some squadmate puts their hand on your shoulder, carrying Kaidan and Ashley, etc. The height difference would be too much works.

Better beard options.
More hair styles.
Weight slider would also be nice to go from slim to bulky (James Vega type build).

Which means a slider would work in your favor. Both the actors you mentioned were most often bulkier than Shepard in the 80's, at least in their most combat heavy roles.

But who wants to be bulky? Not me. Functional Mass. That's how it's done.

I think they should just focus on producing a CC that's superior to or atleast on par with Metal Gear Solid V's.

Yes, and? Equal opportunity afterall. Why do you think you're uncomfortable with it? To be fair, the same could be said about boobs slider. What's the purpose? When people said guys get sexualized as much as girls, they can't differentiate between a power fantasy and sexualization.
