I cannot install the patch 1.04 for this game, as when I try to run it, it tells me that it cannot detect Dragon Age 2 and that I have to reinstall the game.

I have the digital version of the game which I downloaded via Origin.

Am I doing something wrong with trying to install the patches because I've never done this before. Please help!

Also the same problem arises with the 1.05 patch for Dragon Age Origins.

Log-in to Origin
Go to "My Games"
Right-click on the DA2 Game Tile
Select "Repair Game"
Profit!

 

And if your install of DAO is also via Origin, follow the same instructions using that title.
