Favourite character So fast, so much kaboom, so much weapon damage.

Everyone needs to play him more. Can't decide if I prefer the High Lord or the Carrier on him

Black widow and warp ammo is my favourite setup on him. It's not optimal for shielded mooks or headshot medals but it destroys armor at range like nothing else in the game.

Team him up with a nova guard and a paladin and you've got some crazy, loud combo destruction.

Use a single shot high damage weapon with Disruptor III or IV rounds and instead of using a power before firing fire at an enemy first then use a power like energy drain, overload, proxy mine etc for tech bursts. This way you will prime and immediately detonate without effecting biotic or fire explosions. Mooks die very fast even on gold and plat so only thing "those" teammates should be priming and detonating biotics and fire explosions on are bosses.

Well, I learnt remembered something today. Though an exception (the only one?) would be Reave+6bBubble, right?

If you have the "warp" evolution for bubble, it is a different effect from the bubble.  That is what makes this chain work.

Yep an unintended side effect I inconveniently forgot to mention. Also free ammo-primed tech bursts fire explosions.

Yep though the priming window is quite short. I guess it means there s 2 effect with lash, some direct damage and some lift/drag biotic effect

If you detonate with Overload or ED you're re-priming for another Tech Burst, I think.

A power can't act as a detonator and primer for the same kind of explosion.

 

For example, if you warp to detonate BE, it won't prime for BE.

But if you detonate TB or FE or CE with warp, it primes for BE.

 

Biotic sphere is the exception. It detonates and primes for BE if you choose warp evo in rank 6.

Tried this build recently, as well as a valiant build : lots of fun and quite effective. I find that the valiant is quite an underrated gun

Not an exception because it has two effects.

 

Slam also has two effects.  Slam-lash can give you two explosions with only two powers cast.

You can detonate a Fire or Cryo explosion and prime for a Tech Burst with a single cast of Overload.  You just can't detonate a Tech Burst and prime for another Tech Burst.
