Back in the 90s they actually released on time though.  And in quick succession.  Feels like an eternity now between game releases.

Back in the 90's games rarely had release dates announced as far ahead of time as they are now(which is only done to garner pre-orders, which wasn't a thing for most of the 90's), and games were about 2% as complex back then as they are now. Making AAA games today is like juggling 6 flaming bowling pins while balancing on a unicycle on top of a bowling ball. That **** is complex and difficult as hell.

This has been a real bummer this generation. I mean we haven't even had a new Rockstar game yet!

The Cup of Tears. It will never run dry when used in gaming context. We'll have classy drinks all the way.

Ahh yes The Cup of 1000 Virgin Tears that never runith dry. May our thirsts be forever quenched!

But The Cup of Virgin Tears should be a treasure we obtain from defeating these dungeons.

What delays?

What hype?

The game remains in development so the release date (as yet unspecified) is hardly nailed down, and any hype is only being fuelled by a small group of obsessives debating the matter here. Any delays are irrelevant to most people, any hype is non-existent for most and self-generated by the few.

To go from "BioWare hasn't shown us much of MEA" to "BioWare is embarrassed by MEA" is just absurd.

Embarrassed might be the wrong term (you can't be embarrassed of your work if you had no pride in it to begin with), but the lack of confidence in this product is palpable.

Oh, so you're just a caricature of an internet whiner. Good to know.

You can't kill something I already didn't have.

The lack of information is preventing hype from being generated.

I kind of just think of Bioware as having super well-maintained forums at this point...

Seriously though these forums like never shut down or have problems it's kinda scary almost.

I am hyped before the 'official' hype even began. I hope ME:Andromeda will be a great game with a MP like ME3, but better, otherwise I'm going to stop games completely. Everything nowadays released is **** and other **** like Windows 10 makes me want Linux really bad.

I have been playing ME3 MP for 3 years now without any change or bugfix, I can just hope the ME4MP will be 4x as good in 4K without those horrible bugs.

My relative hype level is where it usually is... Cheerful optimism.

MEA is probably the game I'm MOST excited about, but that's not a ton of excitement. I'll probably cross into frothing once I see some characters and gameplay and it's less than a month out. But I generally try to be positive without crossing into crazy expectations, because there's nothing worse than that thing that you expect to be MAGNIFICENT CHOSEN ICON OF OUR TIME and it just turns out all right.

I was so hyped for Fallout 4 even though they waited until just a few months before launch to even confirm the game. I don't feel the same hype for ME:A and it's not the lack of hype. Maybe this time next year I'll be excited for the game.

Low quality and cost free teasing tweets. Helpless fandom blow the tweets way out of proportion.

It's creating the hype for me since they don't push out a halfass dungeon repeating game like DA2. Maybe they add 2 more options for straight guys and multiple races this time around. :P j/k

According to the people who played the game, the game is essentially finished and can be played from beginning to end. At the moment, they're just adding more contents and polishing up  the game.

Not really, so many RPG's have been delayed in the last few years that it's become normal. I'm ready for the hype train whenever Bioware is.

FYI, just calling something a fact doesn't make it so. You have presented nothing but an illogical opinion with no basis in reality.

Fact, statements made by calling it a fact are indeed such, fact.

Get a room you two, fact.

On a side note - Master of Orion 3 killed off any of my hype receptors pretty much.

Nowadays only thinking about Krogan and Asari mating together makes me feel excited. A little.
