I downloaded the game for free through Origin, started it up, and really enjoyed it for about 11 hours worth of gameplay...

 

Then I went to start it up one day, and it simply didn't work.  The main menu was laggy, and in game was stuttering and hard to control.  I'd say it was an issue with Windows 10, except that I had it running on Windows 10 perfectly when it was first installed.  I've tried everything I can think of (short of just reinstalling it, which I don't want to do since I'll lose my saves).

 

I would appreciate any help anyone can give with this, because I was really enjoying the game quite a lot before it crapped out on me.  Thanks!

Have you tried uncapping the FPS in the config file in the game folder?

 

JadeEmpire.ini -> change ClampFPS=1 to 0

 

Also, I think it has a slight memory leak problem, so it is recommended to reboot the machine after you've played for several hours.
