I love my Inquisitor, and I cannot for the life of me replicate her in the character creator.

I thought I had the world import thing done right because I imported my carefully carefully customised world state (living dwarf warden, OGB, solo king Alistair, female Hawke etc etc) except I'm now 20 hours into the game and I find out that the warden is an elf and dead, Alistair married Anora, Connor is dead and Hawke is a dude. Especially since the Keep file for it puts the Inquisitor with the correct Warden and Hawke.

I don't want to restart, I want to keep this Inquisitor and I want my world state the way I thought I imported it. Is that in any way possible?

Unfortunately, you have to start a new game. Go to Black Emporium, use the mirror and make screenshots of your character's sliders. Make sure you've selected "Import to Inquisition" in the keep website. When starting a new game, make sure you select your world state to be loaded from the keep, and you can recreate your Inquisitor from the saved slider pictures.

If you're on PC, you might also try this method in addition to screenshotting your sliders.

One question which fits into the title of the thread:

When I started a game with a tapestry and then want to start a second/third/etc. playthrough with another tapestry:

- Do I have to always change the tapestry back to whatever playthrough I'm playing?

(So I have to import tapestry A when I play playthrough #1, then change it to tapestry B when I want to play #2 and so on)

Or is the tapestry saved in the moment you actually play and you don't have to worry anymore which tapestry is imported into DA:I at the moment?

[edit]

Okay, after some more googling (some things are hard to find x.x ) I found my answer... just to notice that it seems my first playthrough wasn't even with any tapestry, even though I followed the steps to use one very clearly *grumbles*
