Can warp ammo set up biotic explosions?

Also, I noticed I have a lot of explosive ammo. What's the point of that ammo? Does it prime for it's kind of explosion (explosive explosion?)? Does it detonate? Do I get fries with that?

No. the funny part is...there is another game from EA called Fuse....they use biotic weapons...when enough bullets are fired into a single target...it will cause an explosion.....weird, huh?

Singularity can only detonate tech and biotic with the evolution 6 explode. This evolution is a must no matter what if you want to graduate from pug scrub school. So say if you're playing Smash Adept, you go Sing>Smash=BioticBoom>Smash>wait for SingExplosion=BioticSingatonExplosion. So you get 2 explosions for doing just 3 moves, means you're not a pug scrub anymore.
PS - Warp Ammo does more dmg is an enemy is primed for a biotic explosion.

Isn't it even primed in general? Primed for fire, ice and tech?

Reave is a good example of a power that only detonates biotic explosions
Singularity and Anhilation only detonate stuff when they 'splode

To my knowledge it only does extra damage if the target is biotically primed.

No. The target must be primed for BE. And the damage bonus doesn't work on shields even when biotically primed.

Tech explosions can only be detonated by biotic powers that apply force. Hence, no Reave or Dark Channel (or, presumably, Stasis and that justicar bubble thing).

Have you tried a modded Vanguard with Annihilation Field? I wonder if that works.

That is called proper game design.
Unlike disruptor ammo, which is like a cheap wh*re that screws around with everything.

Disruptor and AP IV are totally worthy of their price, they are amazing. He who had the idea to mix up explosions is to blame here. Biotics should only detonate biotics.
Sentinels and Adepts should have different versions of the same powers. Throw, for example. Adepts should keep the "+% explosion dmg" and Sentinels should get instead a "detonate tech powers", they were Tech/Biotics ffs.
But, it has been said before, terrible game design is terrible.

Personally, I am not a fan of ammo priming. Combos should've been left to powers alone.
