TIL she voice acted the sole survivor in fallout 4 as well as Ada Wong from resident evil 6. I didn't know it was her in those two before this but I did realize it was the same person and they were really well done. The sarcastic lines in FO4 were gold and I'd definitely love to see this option in Andromeda other than being just renegade or paragon.

A shame she's leaps and bounds better than the male voice actor.  Because I do not play as female character.  Ruins my self insert fantasies.  >_>

Playing as the opposite gender could bring your "self insert fantasies" to a whole new level.

 

But I hear you. I pretty much only play as my own gender.

I'm a woman. I like playing as a female protagonist because I didn't get to see many badass women in media growing up. It's better now, but still rare enough that given a choice I will always choose the female PC. I tried playing as BroShep in ME2 but couldn't get past Lazarus station.

I'm a guy who plays more female characters for much of the same reason - girls that kick azz.  We must be of a similar generation:)

The same . I really really love the opportunity to play as a badass woman. I usually make them POC for the same reason, I don't usually see as much Zoe Saldanas, Michelle Rodriguez or Rinku Kikuchi as main badass protagonist in action movies as I would like to see. 

MaleShep is good, I really like the time I played with him, but for me Shepard are all those 20 different playtroughs I have with my FemSheps.

So, I understand people who simply can't play with Femshep because they feel they are playing an alternative Shepard, not the real one. It's the same with me but FemShep is the true one for me  .

One of BioWares very strongest skills is choosing their voice actors.  They hit it out of the park with her as Jack.
