Don't warning points expire at some time?

Still rather not see it, though. As if I'm suppose to feel like some kind of filthy deviant or something.
Edit: for whatever it might matter, when I got the warning point and my post was removed, I had already been participating in the thread.

^That's why I think they need to use the expiration feature more than they do.

Well, banning old forumites isn't smart, and the mods know that. Until Andromeda comes out, most Bioware customers will just avoid the forum altogether and stick to reading news on online newspapers and magazines. Those that remain here and keep the forum alive usually replay the games until the release and have fun with each other. They're the life of the party. People are the reason the forum is alive between releases.
If they start banning faces that are always around here, it'll just scare the rest of the gamers that still come here often and the forum will feel more and more deserted. I don't think they want that, neither does Bioware. So there must be some level of tolerance and care to avoid handing out unnecessary punishment, especially to innofensive content. I don't mind having 1 or 2 warning points, but seriously, how come there's a risk the mods ban forumites like me when half the stuff I read daily in the more chaotic portion of the forum makes me feel sick to my stomach? How come there are people with 10,000+ posts who write 1-line sentence posts in all sorts of threads simply to provoke or downright offend others and have been around for a long time? Isn't that reason enough to receive a warning about derailing a thread and making unwarranted provocation?
Just a friendly reminder of how priorities matter and how it's easy to lose customers because of a rushed decision. Some people contribute, some don't. And forbidding a loyal customer who regularly purchases Bioware Points and buys DLC from accessing the forum because they happened to post a gif or sweared once might not be a bright idea. Just saying.

I don't think they care who goes. Plenty took a leave of absence after Off Topic was removed because it was one of the best social parts of the forum and for some reason Bio/EA thought it wasn't worth having anymore. An incredibly ridiculous decision that totally killed any fun to be had on this forum for many.
Which has led to other people posting off topic stuff all over the rest of the forum, leading to some of those things you don't like seeing posted.
I'm still here hoping someone can convince those with power to reopen Off Topic so I can get back to the threads I was posting in there.

I still remember the days when 4 warning points meant a permaban. That's what happnened to my old account. But I guess it's a good thing the mods here don't rage at you for having a different opinion like a certain mod did in the old BSN.

Meh I've got 2 warning points for language. I don't see why considering I didn't even bypass the filter. >_>
