I read in these forums a lot of long, actually sometimes very long Banters back, and forth about form fitting clothing, and Armor that is Practical, and you can not tell a female from a Male clothing, and armor.

1. Choice:: Many people seem to want a more form fitting Clothing, and armor, that reveals the form, and gender of the player.

2. Choice:: Many are totally turned off by this, and want armor, and clothing no matter what gender they play to be as unappealing as Mind craft characters, but totally practical, and realistic.

3. The option I would like, or ability to satisfy most everyone would be Armor, and clothing that Choice number one would like, and armor and clothing that Choice number two would like.

4. Then add crafting ability, that allowed you to take which ever armor you liked, and enhance it by gathering materials, and item, through the course of the game to produce the armor of your choice. {Coloring it, making it better for and adept, or a warrior, or what ever along the way Many options here.

Basically any armor you picked could become as strong as any other over the course of the game}

And of course there could be 3 or 4 of each type of Choice armor.

Opening chest's would not necessarily offer more unusable or useless Armor, but rather enhancement options for the Armor of your choice.

Making the crafting ability a very valuable stat to improve so that you could produce your personal fantasy armor.

5. The point would be that no matter which type armor you choose, you will, with hard work, and vigilance be able to produce your own, personal favorite fantasy armor... No matter if it is Practical, or fantasy somewhat more body conforming armor ( Not Nudity ). This Armor or clothing would be just what you wanted, and you could play the way you wanted too. [ Not inflicting or forcing your desires on everyone else and thus allowing everyone to play in a fashion that will visually allow them to enjoy the game better]

6. This seems like a reasonably simple Idea, that could even have DLC's produced for it adding to the Options of both type's of armors over time.

7.Just and Idea, I personally don't see any major problem with, It would seem to be a reasonably cost effective, and friendly way to deal with a complaint that I see quite often in these forums.

Yeah, I think clothing that people wear on their body would be a good idea.

Interesting.  I don't really want crafting in the game, as in DAI type crafting where you break level progression due to boosting stats out the wazoo and making loot obsolete.  But if it was in there just for appearance it wouldn't be a big deal.

Just give my female character some more feminine clothing/armor and I'll be happy. I'm tired of her looking like a butch man lol, she's a woman, so she should look like a woman xD

I think everyone should just run around with spandex on. Miranda could pull it off, why can't we?

Not sure how this would even work. You will likely belong to some kind of organization who then would require you wear a uniform while on duty, so except when you're at the hub world when would you wear civilian clothing?

No clothing. Saves me from a nude mod.

I hope they do more with the on ship clothing and give us different options to wear like in ME 2 and 3 at least and not just one thing we can't change at all like in DA:I.

1.   Yes Organization or faction depending on the story line could maybe work.

2. I also though different company licenses, as was used in ME1.

Designs being very different, from one company to the next. One perhaps opting for standard Bulky Metal plate's, and thick Kevlar, and another using state of the art light weight materials, allowing for a more custom form fitting Armor. [ I personally always like the Asari commando Armor.]

3. Something like what was in ME1, where you have slot's for enhancement items that could be filled to help you heal, improve your shields, give you more strength, what ever.

These Slots could be added as the game progressed, as in the way many RPG add socket's to armor. Allowing you to improve your armor of choice over the course of the game. Each company licenses bringing very personal enhancements to there design. [ depending on your choice of mech warrior bulky, or form fitting, one perhaps accenting armor, and the other accenting Shield's, but each technically giving the same protection.

4. For me it boils down to choices, I love that I can personalize my face, but being able to personalize me body, and the Armor that my Character wears would be even better. The more I can customize my Character the better I like it.

[   I don't know about you all, but when I play games like Skyrim, and Oblivion, and even DA Origins, I just love popping over to Nexus, or some place similar to down load lots of clothing, and Armor mods. It makes the game so much more personal, and enjoyable when I can make my character just the way I like them. ]

5. So for me it is just that I want all the ability I can get to Personalize my Character. It just makes the game so much more immersive, and enjoyable for me.

Yes that was really good in ME2, and I did quite a bit of scripting, and was able to wear everyone Else's armor as well [ including Miranda ].  ME3 allowed a lot of options as well, with some mod I remember there also being able to wear most every piece of clothing available in that game, I did not have to script that one my self some one else did it.

I have a console so I can't mod anything. That's why I would appreciate some different options instead of beige pajamas I can't change. I am looking forward to trying mods in Fallout 4 in a few weeks though.

Hm...

Combat suits designs, if the first trailer is anything to go by, is already a done deal. It's form fitting.  I'm of the faction that believes future high tech combat gear must be tailored to the individual, so that the body and gear "become one".

Gear upgrade mechanics must be simple. Find an improved blueprint or tech upgrade schematic and let the ship's Fabrication and Repair AI handle the work to be done. My Pathfinder is much too busy managing and defending the colony world(s). This solution offers a menu of possible upgrades / repairs with a point and click GUI selection option or even an Auto-Update feature.

For all off-duty Squad personnel,  the game  ought to provide  freedom  for individual sartorial choices according to military-civillian status. Meaning, military types must adhere to regs while the civillians can do their own "thing".

I'm pretty happy overall with the armour designs in the original trilogy. They at least made an effort to look like real armour without completely hiding the figure of the person wearing it.

I mean I don't want to walk around looking like a tank with arms and legs but I also don't want to look like I got my armour from stripper's discount warehouse.

Casual outfits should provide a variety of options.

Yes both very well thought out answer's.

But My true question or Idea was that with say for instance 4 Form fitting options, and say 4 Mech warrior very bulky, and practical Option's that did not define the gender in any way.

Perhaps those opposing whom were very prudish, and those opposing whom were very gender oriented People might be satisfied ?

[[[ If they then complained, (after being given exactly what they asked for) about what other people were choosing, then I would think they were trying to force everyone to behave just like them, and that you were only allowed to think as they do, that they, and they alone should be the ones to decide what you wear ]]]

>>>> I have to admit that for myself, personally I find it much more satisfying when I am playing a game, and feel good about my characters appearance.

( I know is single player game and all, but for me it is like when I go some where, I like to look my best, or what I think personally is my best, and I enjoy being able to choose that for myself, and as I said Options/Choices as many as I can get about my character, are very immersive for me  )<<<<

I read the title as "Clothing Optional Idea" (unfortunately after that anything was going to be a disappointment.)

I would like to have more clothing options. Maybe some stylish and attractive articles.

Armor is armor though--I don't have any preferences there.

I liked the armor in ME2 and I do hope they have more than one style.  I want to look female, don't want skin type glued on armor, but if that is just one of a few options it's all good.

I loved the N7 hoodie I got on the 360 but didn't get on the pc.  :)  Would love a jeans and some kind of shirt or hoodie outfit and if they are going to give us some kind of "formal" outfit I hope it has sleeves or better yet, a couple of options.

I'm more of a wear casual outfit when not at work kind of person so I hope they give us a few options, which I would think they will since they did in the previous games.

Also looking forward to the mods for FA4 on my ps4 and if BW would do this for their games, that would be wonderful.

I want armor to look and function like armor.  I also want full helmets for everyone in areas with hostile atmosphere.

I want clothing to look and function like clothing, including having it be appropriate for the situation.

I would also like there to be at least some variety in style and design to suit player taste.

I do NOT want to be stuck with catsuits, plunging necklines, exposed skin, stiletto heels, spandex, and designs that make the outfits look like fetish wear.

That was sort of what the Option was all about to give you the choice. Are, are you one of those people that believe your choice is the only one that matters ? That everyone else should only wear what your say ?

I was more or less looking for a way to make everyone's fantasy personal, and the way they liked it.

I simply stated my opinion of what I wanted.

Crafting armor is fine.   As long as the patterns I  want are available.  And as long as I do want don't require sacrificing a goat to the RNG gods to get them

It might not be workable here since characters wear armor covering their whole bodies but I liked what they did in The Division. There are six armor slots that do change appearance when you get new pieces but you mostly see your characters clothes (pants, jackets, shoes, etc) and those choices are purely cosmetic.

Maybe ME:A could do something where base pieces of armor are cosmetic and then different mods or materials would affect the stats of the armor.

The butt ugly feature in DAI are terrible, even the best Females characters I saw there with everything at default [No Mods] were still terrible. Although some people would humor the posters and tell them they were good. They were really just barely tolerable

I feel I should remind you that you wrote this and in this portion of your post, you pretty much presented your opinion on the character creator as if it was fact and even reimagined other posters' opinions so that they would match your own.

Basically, you've overwrote other people's opinions in favor of your own and acted as if it was the only valid one.

While not a bad solution on paper, this only works if they're actually going to make 4 options for every option a decent number of people want.

The fact that they'll only be making so many armour styles for the PC means that people will be arguing over what styles should be prioritized. At least, more people than would normally be arguing about it since you can always find somebody who wont be happy until every choice is the style they want on both sides of this debate.

Although I would be disappointed if "butt conforming spandex" and "walking mech" were the only two armour styles in the game. What I personally want is something in between those two.
