Reason why something as that will highly ever get pulled is:
1) Majority of gamers are males
2) Meaning males don't bring money as female sex sells like hot blue space babe by name Asaris
It is sad fact, but nonetheless true one
Hmmm...wonder would Square Enix get more money for getting Sephiroth or Tifa naked.I mean these two are biggest FF hoes, especially Sephiroth that brought money by losing new layer of his "clothes" with each new franchise. His "shirtless" tactic managed to sex sell itself past even Tifa's huge knockers.
Now you have me intrigued.Actually forget that, something tells me crossdressing Cloud x Don Corneo hardcore porn is where real money will be at.Anyway onto ME:A now...I just came to see if there is flamewar somewhere here at so I can put on my 3D glasses and start eating popcorns.

Maybe but female gamers are on the rise and there are a lot more now than there ever was.
I don't think males would care about an all female race if the Asari are still in it. Why be greedy and mainly please one gender? If all their female fans disappeared they would take quite a dip in their fan base I bet.
Ahh yes all male planet would be fun indeed. Drinking lots of beer, fishing, and not having to explain why we got home late for having a good damn time.
I don't do that with my boyfriend, he does whatever he pleases whenever he pleases and I wouldn't think of changing it. Do women really have that bad of a rep?

True.
Still male fanbase is still most dominant one and that most developers tend to listen to most since they are still considered to be biggest consumers.

Not that I disagree with your post in general - which I don't - but from a linguistic perspective, this might actually be a false conclusion.
In ME universe, all races use translation programs (to at least some degree), so (at least in theory) it is possible that the Asari - Human translator has actually been programmed to translate those words into their feminine equivalents in Earth languages because from the perspective of the Human race, those are more prescriptive / appropriate for the Asari from humanity's (general) point of view. For a human eye, the Asari look like an all-female race, and in languages where pronouns are determined by the speaker's / subject's / object's gender, a human would use a feminine pronoun / gender-specific titles when referring to an Asari - whereas I doubt that a Salarian, for example, would categorize them according to their perceived similarity to Salarian females, because no similarities exist, and that categorization would be misleading and pointless.
When you think about it, the existence of feminine pronouns and titles in Asari culture doesn't even really make sense because they're monogendered, and having dual system based on the speaker's / subject's / object's gender would be moot.
Sorry. Language nerd.
Thanks. I was thinking this too, translators are programmed by someone who puts in the translations, but wasn't quite sure how to put it. Language is such an interesting thing.

I was also a bit worried that there would be a "flame war" but I've been pleasantly surprised so far. I would also rather it stayed this way, it means that there are decent people willing to talk and be adult about this. I like that.

I second this lol. But my all time favourite person whom I would LOVE and ADORE to romance would be a Christopher Reeve look-alike. I wouldn't be able to stop playing!

Lol no there are some really nice women out there. But not all of them have been the easiest to work with, that's why they're ex's. I admit I was an idiot and let a few good ones get away due to distance or some other minor detail that I put too much value in. Most of the time though, it's her controlling nature, cheating or lack of effort in making it work.....
Getting off topic, my apologies

Back to sexy maliens: seriously would be so good if bioware did this. From empirical evidence, nerdy dudes don't really care that much about women anyways otherwise they'd be out trying to drop that V card.

¿All male alien race? ¿Have you any sense of biology? Males just "donate" their sperm, females are the ones with REPRODUCTIVE organs where the embryo grows. So, ¿How the hell male only race could reproduce? ¿Clones like in StarWars? ¿Or all of them are truly female but with male proportions of faces?
Besides, in ME1-3 I FINALLY saw a few females, too few; there were too many male aliens everywhere. Only Quarians(and humans) had female and male characters, and if it wastn because of ME3 I wouldNT have know Turian, Krogan(by voice) and Salarians(by voice) had females.
So, if we had too many alien males in the past, ¿then why a male alien race? Better think that all Vorcha and Batarians are males...

It is a bit...weird for me seeing you without your classical king Julian avatars.
Usually in past when put a comment I would read it in king Julian's voice and matter how much of point you make, I couldn't take it seriously, now I have impression that everything you say no matter how ridicules it is...that you are being serious ![]()

Ok, I wasn't convinced an all male race would be a good idea until now.
Yes to Greek god looking alien race. Or Spartans. The historically inaccurate Zack Snyder wet dream Spartans though, not real Spartans, that wouldn't be fun.

Hey, someone was just asking where you were lol! We've already gone over how an all male race could reproduce and no they wouldn't carry or give birth themselves, don't freak out, we said this in previous posts lol.
We've actually mentioned that as well. It would be nice to see the females of other races as well since we didn't see them, maybe they will be added Andromeda? Will have to wait and see.
Ok, I wasn't convinced an all male race would be a good idea until now.

Lol! What's not to love? As long as they don't give us a stunning handsome guy but give him the personality of a natt, that would completely ruin it all.

I've seen conversations about the Asari and them being an all female race. I for one love the Asari race but then again I love most of the races but with some thought, it's easy to see why BioWare chose a female race instead of a male race. It's not just that they're "eye candy" but for some people it would be weird to see men pregnant and giving birth. Even though we have species / organism now where the males of the species give birth and even some don't have genders, they just breed with whomever they please, most species need a female to carry, grow and give birth to their offspring and that's just what we're used to.
But there is a way around that. In Andromeda I'm sure we'll see new species as well, so what if we did come across an all male species but they have been able to breed through females of other races. That way no one will have to feel uncomfortable about imagining men walking around pregnant and they could be good options for both same and opposite gendered relationships.
The next questions would be how they reproduce with other species. They would have to 'adapt' so they can breed with others.
What would they look like, and what would their race be called?
Did you play the original trilogy?
Because every race but humans, Asari and Quarian were all male!
We saw like 1 female krogan, 1 female salarian, and 2 female turians (had to buy dlc to see them). Not to mention we still have seen zero female drell, Vorcha, elcore, volus etc. An all male race would kind of be redundant.
