This was a problem when DA:I first came out. Now, Bioware is using Frostbite for the very first time and, even doe it is an awesome engine (battlefront is the proof), i am a little concerned about how much Bioware will care about PC gamers. You see, lately the PC version of games are launched with tons of bugs and problems. The last games i bought had tons of it and devs are less and less concerned about the PC version of its games overall.

As i know bioware reads the threads here in silence, im just going to leave this here: please, PLEASE, Bioware, make sure the pc version is 100% polished and fluid before release. I dont mind (and neither other PC gamers) if you do like other companies did and launch console versions before the PC one, in order to do a proper work for ppl who plays in pc.

Das it. Thanks, from a player who will preorder ME:A as soon as it is available @ origin

What if they release an unpolished version, and then patch it?

That would have the same effect - you'd get the polished version later - but it would deprive the rest of us who like to exploit bugs.

Fat chance. Just be glad you'll have the raw horsepower to throw at it.

IF you are lucky they might let us bind separate actions to different keys.

They should release it at the same time and the PC version should be optimized for PC.

I don't even necessarily mean for bugs(they should get rid of as many as they can in general before launching the game). The game should run fairly smoothly given you meet the requirements and we should have basic PC options like the ability to rebind keys.

Fat chance. Just be glad you'll have the raw horsepower to throw at it.

We're the PC gaming master race.

Overpowering things with raw hardware power is how we roll.

Not sure what you are meaning with "BioWare is using Frostbite for the very first time" since they made Dragon Age: Inquisition with it.  The problem with saying you want a 100% polished game is that is an impossible request since I can't think of any game that has been released ever that has been 100% polished for Baldur's Gate had issues when it launched and it was a much less complex game or even the much loved Mass Effect 1 had issues at launch as well.

I didnt know DA:I already made use of frostbite... anyway, what i tried to say is: please, dont release the PC version with tons of framerate issues and bugs. Take AC Unity and the latest Batman as exemple (or even Far Cry Primal if you wanna talk 2016): the PC version of these games was released and are still today (despite some patches) broken, and that is a more and more frequent problem pc gamers are having...

Otherwise, what would be the point of liquid cooling?

I'm worried about that as well, I mean look at the long-term state of Dying Light. One of the worst-optimised games I've ever seen.

I seriously hope(while I doubt it) that ME:A is optimized as good as 'MGSV:PP' was.

I mean I can name tons of flaws that game had as being 'MGS' game, but it was amazingly optimized.

Whenever I see that phrase, I'm always reminded of this picture.

It's not that bad on PC.

The funny thing about the "buggy releases in the past", is, that I almost never had any problems with my games. While the forums busted with comments saying how bad the game runs, mine were almost always fine. Yes, the patches that followed gave me a solid 10% improve in performance as well, but my games were stable before and I'm not running a 2500€ PC.
I think the only difference between me and other people is, that I treat my PC like an raw egg, cleaning it almost every month and don't watch porn on it. That's what Tablets were made for! (lol)
And how many people these days actually have problems, while at least 50% are pretending and need attention and just want to join the hate train.

None the less, they already delayed the game, which, in my opinion, has nothing to do with the people that left and more with optimization, but the warriors on the internet are always right, I guess. So what more do you want. The next thing after releasing a game, that is not broken, is not releasing anything at all.
It's one thing to be a perfectionist and being afraid of releasing a product that fails to deliver, but fans and consumers being afraid that the game won't deliver? Have some faith. If we go to the supermarket and pray to evey apple, egg and potato, that it hopefully tastes well, you are just ruining your own life.

I do hope they decide to treat the PC version right. I treat my PC like a baby and I don't do risky stuff with it and keep it clean. DA:I was not put together with computer gamers in mind. The controls were crappy. I kept losing my cursor in the on screen action (something other games don't do), and the game persists in random crashing even with some serious processor and vid-card upgrades on my end.

I'd like some better performance out of ME:A, and I'll be disappointed if I don't get it. This would be evidence of the second company after Maxis that shows signs of QA erosion after going under the EA umbrella if some of these things don't correct.
