See I'm confused.... I see the mods one day permabanning people, including my pals for having two accounts but then I see other people very openly have two accounts by the same name almost, openly admitting that they own these two accounts, posting from these, both of them, bragging about how they own both acounts. They can basically jump from account to account each time they get bannned without consequences, how convienient! While others get permabanned for simply having the extra account. So is this favourism? Cause the mods have been made aware of this person more than once and seen and looked at their profile but didn't do anything, so what is it?

 

Is it against the rules or not? Or just against the rules for "some" people?

It is against the rules to create an alternate account for the purpose of circumventing a ban.

 

As with any rule, mod response will vary according to time of day, whether it has been reported, severity, etc etc.

Correct. We don't actually care unless the alts are being used to circumvent bans or harass.
