I don't mind action games though. In fact, I love them. I don't know about Bioware though. And at this point in time, I'd rather see more AAA RPGs made. Not less.

How easily people forget Shattered Steel and MDK 2.  Jade Empire is even considered more of an action game than an RPG.

Just so I understand BSN logic when it could be good news from EA people its a lie and we can't trust them and lets twist that information to fit our narrative, but when it is a negative it is completely true and they are going to ruin everything?

 

Even before EA purchased BioWare they were talking about Mass Effect as an action game with RPG elements, which any action game I play now feels like that can be described as.

I hadn't planned on pre-ordering it so I'll wait and see.  I like some action games, but they are not my first choice in game purchases.

I like when the lady in the vid gives up their conceit: that they don't really have actual information on the new IP or even Andromeda.... but that they'll still connect dots. Speculation on vague things game companies say has become a vocation instead of just a thing fans do I guess.

 

Let's wait until we have actual evidence, besides an internal company graphic with vague categories on it,  before we start talking about a game none of us have seen anything substantive of (Andromeda) or like a couple environment maybe screenshots (the new IP).
