Let the characters in the trilogy stay where they belong....in the trilogy.
Andromeda will still have the Mass Effect feel. I'm ready to meet new people.

About the characters from ME, you won't see them on MEA, I'm sorry, time to move on

Yeah, keeping the old races around would be nice. Granted, it still won't be the same since many of the interracial conflicts were solved in ME3.

lol "ME3's sickness". ME 3 was a great game even with the ending controversy. If you downloaded the EC and paid attention to the epilogue slides you saw what happened to people

Pick up the series a 2nd time for the pc. Play in joy and get the mod that lets you die or live. Or one of the other ending mods. There is one that keeps all the endings, but if you survive, instead of a charred body, you have Shepard putting Anderson's name on the memorial. This is also the ending if you just add the live or die mod.

Uh... Play the Mass Effect trilogy again if you want to see your old friends? If necessary, headcanon post-endings, plus or minus gallons of sap. If you're not a headcanoner, read someone else's fluffy story! My usual cure for Mass Effect blues is to heavily apply Mass Effect until the symptoms fade.
We'll have new space friends soon, and we'll probably recognize the species! If the krogan can make it, I'm pretty sure we'll be seeing asari, turians, salarians, hopefully quarians, and maybe some new guys, too. Annnnnd humans. Lots of humans.
