And wow, seriously, all these warning points being handed out... i feel left out.

 

Might have to go onto a random thread and just, i don't know, apparently anything can get you a warning point by the sounds of things haha

I might have gotten a little salty on the main forum. I really couldn't help myself. Somebody (*cough*bro?*cough*) opened up a new romance thread. And… and… well, between this and noticing the hair-be-flowing in Kotor2 (), i just couldn't let it go. So, i made a "Hair-mance" thread.

I think I have someone out for my blood on the forum. Someone seems to be reporting my posts..... mods are looking at my profile very often these days.

 

Which is funny, because I always put sentences with my .gifs, never post anything sexually explicit, never call people names, and am usually generally nice.

Now I'm salty after a day shopping with my niece.  If we look in a shop without something being bought for her she gets in a strop.  Give me strength, it drives me f-ing crazy...but apparently everyone else is fine with it.  

The world is full of way too many self-absorbed, materialistic, superficial buggers.  I need to go live in the wilderness with nothing but a pair of tweezers and a machete.

I wish Nintendo would quit trying to reinvent the wheel. The wheel is great, it works, just improve on it a little. No need to start from scratch and try to "wow" people with innovation that keeps getting weirder and weirder. Give the gamers what they want. 

I, for one, don't want a handheld, and I don't want cartridges. It's not like you've ever been able to watch dvds on a Nintendo console anyway..... but it would be nice, and practical.

  Cart's are the best medium for games right now, if we had your way we would all still be gaming on Atari's at a point, people thought that wheel was great and all we needed too.
  
  They are not even really reinventing anything with this. What they are doing is giving gamers exactly what they want. A consolidated Nintendo software front.

  You're missing the point. The point is, it's not what I, and lots of other gamers want. Plus, I hate arguing. I see tons of people commenting the same thing I did, why don't you pick a war with them? 
  
  -VR is the gaming of the future....Nintendo has no plans. 
  -All other gaming platforms have dvd and blu ray support, they make more sales because it's more desirable to be a home entertainment focus. 
  -Nintendo has a big fanbase for their handhelds, no need to bring it to the console fanbase, whom not all, like me, desire a handheld with cartridges. 
  -Improving the wheel is what has happened with Atari onward, a controller and a console. The Wii was a revolutionary fad, yes, and Nintendo seems to want to keep that "wow, revolutionary!" Factor, when really, the Wii fad is gone, and they want to see what else they can do. (Playstation Move and the Kinect have all but died.)
  - Reggie already said "It's not about specs" which means they are not ready to compete with the graphics and third party support of the competing consoles of this generation. 
  -Cartridges may be the "best medium" for games right now, but discs are much more convenient for storage and, like I said, the medium for all entertainment right now (except digital.)

  - If all other systems have them, why does Nintendo need it when Carts are the better medium for gamers?

  -Wii was revolutionary, not so much a fad. That is what people say when they want to discredit the record breaking systems. 
  
  -Reggie did say it is not all about specs, it is also about software. Specs in the history of gaming have had little to do with how much software a system gets. Ease of porting and pure power are different animals. 
  
  -For storage Carts and discs are about the same in terms of how much they can store for a game. For gaming application? Carts destroy discs. 
  
  No War, just voicing my opinion, thats all.
  
  All I am saying is for this "rumored" system, they have directly catered to what the majority have been begging for which is a consolidated software front and a hybrid

  -Nintendo can pump out as many Mario parties as they want, they need new IPs. Splatoon was their first new Ip in a long time. A system needs great games to survive, especially third party support. The world can only handle so much Mario and Kirby.

Not just me then, good good.  I was saying how hesitant I was about uBSN because of all the bad stuff being said about Cassandra, and he goes off saying we're bullies yadda yadda yadda.

 

I'm sorry, but when a whole bunch of ppl, many of them perfectly sane and trustworthy, say that in the past Cass caused a lot of **** on here, I pay attention.  It's called being a grown up and being cautious.  But apparently I'm a terrible person for not giving her a chance.

 

All I'm saying is caution, ppl.  If everyone flocks to one site that then implodes in a few months, the 'community' won't survive it.  Eggs.  Baskets.  Right?

 

Oh, and the fact that many of the ME:A s.o.b.s have gone there is putting me off tbh.  It's looking like 'ME:A threads, the forum edition'.  Hope I'm wrong about that though.  Still gonna contribute and try it out.
