I want to stick around to be a voice of reason as long as I can. No one has personally attacked me yet, but still.... you have to call out the stupids. (That's what I call them, Arcadia!) 

 

Heh, the other day I felt like I 'liked' your posts half a dozen times.  I thought you'd get sick of the sight of my dwarf's face in your notifications.

Just don't waste your time on threads where people argue constantly for nothing.

I personally ignore all the threads with crazy rants, ideas etc.... I just reply when I feel like the question deserve to be replied or if I see a nice chat between cool BSNers.

 

I take it very easy those last days, I suggest you to do the same, no need to leave really if all the nice people go away, what will happen here ?

The fact that "casual sexual encounters" threads show up every week allows me to see how many (new) people on this website are addicted to porn and need it in every single entertainment value in their lives. Blech. 9 times out of ten it's started by a noob.

EDIT: 12.5 out of 10 on the salt scale for the nasty newcomer in the MEA forums. I'm out for the day. And possibly the weekend.

But one more rant.

 

The fact that "casual sexual encounters" threads show up every week allows me to see how many (new) people on this website are addicted to porn and need it in every single entertainment value in their lives. Blech. 9 times out of ten it's started by a noob. 

 

But you can just watch porn.  Actual porn with actual people.  Why the hell do you want to see awkward pixelated butts bumping into each other at odd angles whilst characters rub their faces together and pretend it's a kiss?

 

Just watch the bloody porn and leave games with a fade to black. 

 

One of the best scenes for me, that stays in my mind above all others, is Garrus and femShep in ME2 (haven't done ME3 with a Garrus romance yet).  They just put their heads together and omg it's so sweet.    

Perfectly done, great writing, and everything you need for a romance.  They conveyed more feelings with that moment than any awkward sex scene could (like Tali jumping on Shep like a hungry black widow spider and devouring him  ).

It is seriously just dampening my feelings for this game. In general, at the moment, I'm questioning why I even play video games, the industry and the culture can be the absolute worst sometimes.

I'll keep coming back here for this delightful group discussion (thanks for including me Obliviousmiss!!!) as well as regularly popping in to a few threads on the Mass Effect 3 forums that are lighthearted and positive.

They certainly do considering all the warning stuff that happened to ZipZap recently.... banning and warning the nice and funny members and letting all the others opening insane threads.... I don't get it either.

I certainly will, because I love RE~

but I don't understand why they don't give us the choice to switch 1st person to 3rd. RE was always a 3rd person game.

I understand Sony's trying very hard to sell the VR but come on....

And I can forget about coop mode......

 

This is something that scare me a lot about ME and BW games in general : all those players who ask for a 1st person game... I don't mind having both options, but they should never remove the 3rd person option. Especially on games where you custom your own character ~

Of course they do and that's fine, but why force that on a video game?  BioWare are damned if they do and damned if they don't.  But essentially this isn't Huniepop, it's Mass Effect.  Touching well written romances?  Yes.  Sex for sake of it?  Nope.  It demeans the franchise and makes the game a joke.

And as I said, they can get porn everywhere else.
