I think it could be an interesting ideas to have the option to have small screens (maybe top right of the main screen) to show the first person view of our teamates, all of them or any number, even one.
I think it would add an extra layer of presence related to your teammates.
Also It could be interesting gameplay-wise, as the player could send one or more teammates into different locations, like exploring a rooms or corridors away from the sight of the player.

I think it'd be too much clutter on screen and isn't all that useful since your teammates are with you most of the times and share your view point for the most part. It'd be more of a gimmick and would waste valuable screen real estate Imho.
But I do like the second idea where you could send a small drone to scout out areas or caves etc as a recon before you go there yourself. The drone can also give you info on map layout and enemy placements etc, so it might be an interesting addition.

No. I prefer my HUD to be clean and simple. Making it look complicated will be annoying.
