No, but maybe check your settings? I only have that happen with hurt non-aggressive animals, not every single one.

 

If it's a hurt animal, I call that mercy kill.

I did both romances and liked both.

 

Josie - if you want a Disney romance (so cute) 

Cass - if you want a very romantic romance (candles, poems etc)

 

Just go for the one you like more

Was it at least during the duel? You get some funny dialogue with Otranto if you break up with her there.

no, i did it before i even gave her the crest....the main reason i broke up was so i could save and start another romance with cass, so when i finish that, i can reload save and continue romance with josephine..............but doing so led to a bug/glitch.......even though i broke up with her and and am committed in cass romance, when i talk to josephine, i still give her the crest and she talks about the engagement and duel as if i have never broken up, but i dont have the war-table mission

 

EDIT: i so hated it that i skipped through all the dialogue pertaining to breaking up

Level cap is 27. If you don't have any DLC you will probably finish around level 24. With DLC, especially, JoH, you will definitely hit the cap before finishing the game. If you have Trespasser, you can turn on the Take It Slow trial to reduce XP by half. With that on, you shouldn't reach the max until Trespasser.

thats a relief cause i was worried when i no longer gained xp--from anything, reached lvl 27 well before here lies the abyss but after wicked eyes and wicked hearts. also is it normal to have 500+ power at this point?

Or a certain Elven Inquisitor who drank form the well and, claimed he was going to redeem Solas is actually another ancient elf and, will go help Solas put things back the way they used to be - destroy the veil once and for all. (Yeah that's a whole lot of OC but hey, it could happen.)

I missed a lot of the former companions in Inquisition. Inquisition's cast was thoroughly underwhelming, and it featured the absolute worst companion in any BioWare game.

How are you trying to start it? You can go via either the map or the war table. For me, the map was freezing up but using the WT worked.

the war table operation is freezing whenever it loads after i travel to it on the results screen

Same thing happened with my first Inquisitor, was too flirty for her own good, I cringed when I had to let her down. Felt like sh*t yup.
