This thread is about an idea for the lore of MAAndromeda

It has been discovered that every life has a connection with a star, ''the belonging star'' and every life has one.

People believe that in the moment of death, if the naked body is sent to the ''belonging star'' it might have the chance to come back with a new life.

For this to work, the lifeless naked body has to travel without any technology from the place of death to the ''belonging star''.

The journey is long and there is no guarantee that this mystical reunion will take place.

''Star deliverers'' are sort of body cannons to push dead bodies towards the star; This sort of cannons are built in every space station and every spaceship.

A hope to, one day, come back.

What do you think?

If people kept fantasy inside their head, we would be a very poor and boring race...

Thanks God, people keep on creating and externating their fantasy, without being discouraged by who has not.

life is always surprising, you might find one day one of my ideas in your favourite game...

Maybe yes, maybe not.

I tend to I invest more energy in my dreams than my in critics...

Cheers!

The ceremonies alone would be hilarious. Everyone gathered around to mourn the passing of Joe Bloggs, when suddenly SCHOOMF! Poor Joe's naked body then flies past the window, with his quickly freezing genitals flailing about wildly. Children and grandmothers watch on, shocked.

Seriously, OP. Why did you have to make them naked?

except we know stars don't work that way and ME tries to stay at least partially "realistic"  for one.

two....it's a bad idea regardless.  It sounds like a terrible Final Fantasy game...or some other bad anime writing.  ME is not Anime.

As others said.  Keep your day job.  Just because it's your idea doesn't mean it's good.  Sorry but this "idea" is the epitome of "bad writing" and (again) this isn't even anime....

What do you think?

It's a better premise than ME:A, but people wouldn't buy a game based on it because it's not enough stupid.

They have to be naked because we are born naked, and the return to the star has to be  like we have been created.

...''bad anime writing''...I stole the idea from a  greek poet from the far past...a man regarded as one of the major thinker of all times...he was recounting the the story of a mythological figure....''bad anime writing''.....I don't know if I have to cry or laugh....funny, very funny... Mr...Suron....

OP? stands for? OPi Wan KenOPi? :-)

OK, then... bad Greek writing. They had a lot of lousy ideas too.

OP means the "original poster" -- the guy who started the thread. That'd be you. "OP" can also be used to refer to the first post in a thread, but you can tell that from context.

Keep your weird fanfiction in your head. Nobody likes it.

My earlier post got nuked out of existence just because I used a swear word which consisted of four asterisks. Much wow!

Anyway I think it is at least entertaining hearing new ideas even if they might be somewhat far fetched because it's nice to see a new perspective. At least it's better than the weird romance threads and the countless recycled topics that are cropping up all over this forum these days. And although a naked dead body getting shot at a star for rebirth doesn't sound really encouraging or seem confined within the boundaries of logic, it is kinda refreshing to see such ideas here.

typical.  you throw out an idea but can't take any negative responses.  It is bad anime writing because it sounds like a bad anime.  Where you got it doesn't matter.  And as stated, the just because it came from a Greek poet doesn't make it good.  I love your excuses.  Bottom line, it's a bad idea and really a really bad premise.  It sounds more like the premise for a bad anime than it does for a Mass Effect game, regardless of where you got it.  Get over it.
