It helps me take my mind off things and relax. It helps my mood when I feel down.

With me it has the opposite effects it put me in stress to realize how many selfish people there are in Dragon age and in the end i have to carry all by myself the burden of everything.....

I guess everybody gets something else out of it. I find it uplifting that the Inquisitor can help so many people, like the refugees in Hinterlands or the villagers in Crestwood. I've never taken it as a burden because I see people who often can't save themselves. I've always found selfless people who sacrifice themselves for the good of others amazing and inspiring. I might feel differently if I were in the Inquisitor's shoes, but I'm not. I can only imagine what that is like to have a fragment of that responsibility in real life. For all their work and the crap they've been through, all the way to losing a limb (and sometimes love) and still going, I find them to be somebody to look up to and that feels good. Maybe also because sometimes you hear or read about horrible things in real life and, as a random individual, there's nothing you can do. But the Inquisitor can actually help in their world and that feels good, as well.

But I understand if not everybody feels the same.
