The better way to Sten is come back home. It was his aim from the first meeting with Gray Warden.
Furthermore, he’ll prate the heroic story about GW among his nation.

I would love Sten to be a GW but I think he believes his place is with the Qun so I can see why it wasn't a thing. He is the arishok now though so I'm sure we'll be seeing him again
